Cheating threads and TFTV

As a personal addition:
It is worth noting that, while not bannable (here), making threads to publicly accuse someone of cheating actively hampers AC efforts by leagues.
Tipping someone off that they are suspect or being investigated only helps them get away with that if it is what you genuinely believe. Obla put this well in their "Anticheat and you" post on ozf:
What is actually happening:
1) stumble across suspect player
2) whine about it in public or in the game
3) in doing so, tip off the cheater that they've been noticed
4) cheater backs off and begins to learn how to avoid getting caught
5) you done fucked up by now
As I mentioned above, all major leagues have ways to privately files an AC report which you should be using instead of posting here.
For those who will not just go out of their way to not just tip off people they suspect, but actively harass and lead crusades against them, please, grow the fuck up. You are talking to actual people when you speak, it seems many of you forget, or just don't care.

Hi all,
There has been a recent spike in the number of threads and posts regarding cheating on the site. Discussion isn't strictly prohibited, but in most cases does go out of line with forum rules, so we feel some reminders are necessary:
- Witch hunting and harassment goes strictly against our forum rules, and will be policed, no it does not matter if they're a cheater.
- TFTV is not a place to submit evidence of cheating. Suspicions should be reported in accordance with your league's guidelines.

gloperzwhile i understand the need for some discretion with anticheat investigations but at the end of the day rgl is still a community league and i definitely feel we are owed some explanation from rgl here. obviously many people in the community (myself included) are convinced mxr is cheating and we have heard nothing from the league in weeks while he has continued to play in matches like nothing is happening with no statement from the league whatsoever.
No AC team is gonna come out and say "Investigation over", especially if they were to say that he isn't cheating, that just would give a green light to him if he was.
