Speaking of weapon ban voting, I think it would be better to include it with map voting, as in only Invite teams vote on the maps. -frag me to hell, but I feel like much of the TF2 community will take a singular invite player's, or even caster's, opinion as the best, heavily influencing the map vote. I believe this is exactly how cp_ashville got voted in. It's either that or many players had the same opinion on a map and sent 18 more votes than the next best. These results may even be called a landslide even if there wasn't actually a majority:

The same thing would happen with banning weapons, even though the community would probably prefer weapon bans to be done this way. I guess the rationale for voting for maps like this is because it's how things are done for CS. I think it would be better if we differed here, though, and switched all voting to the Invite-team-based system (although now the Euros will have no say until their Invite division is formed.
But what do I know, I'm only one person. And effectively a nobody at that.
Edit: I just realized that that last mini-paragraph was very cynical and I didn't mean for it to be. I was only trying to say that I'm just one person and I'm not great at TF2.
Edit 2: I don't even know if I explained it right there.
Good games, especially Process.
I think we have definitely seen today that HRG isn't invulnerable. Next season should be interesting with Shade leaving (which apparently is actually true!).
I slept through Snake so I had to catch the VODs, so I'm a little late on this:
HRG during Snake:
Mix^ vs HRG in the final for about the 4756th time...
I think making the movement speed the same as the target would help. It never made sense to me the way it's currently done. Would cut down on heavy pocketing.
Removing the uber might be a good idea. I don't think that will really make the weapon less fun for medics.
Let's just see how it plays out for the rest of LAN and the playoff matches.
Well the community already has an extreme hatred for heavy, so I assume anything that makes heavy worse to play against is automatically hated more.
I was gone for most of the day, IDK how bad anything is. Not sure if I even want to watch.
yes please interview rays aka ray shud aka ian "crackhead" rays
Edit: The volume seems pretty low. I can hear you fine, but barely anyone else.
FogShroomsygood breadI give you article and you tell me it's bread? Oyyyyyyy!
well I thought it was butter :)
raysI'm in my room. I'm on the 10th floor, which apparently requires a card in the elevator to even access. I don't know whether to feel privileged or scared.
Still haven't talked to anyone, but I did exchange awkward glances with people when they walked by.
Tell me when you talk to the weird dudes.
raysHowever, it's 2 queen-sized beds and I'm afraid of cuddling
