I agree for Badlands, Gully, and Gpit (although the latter two have problems, they might as well be replaced with new maps if anything. I think this remake specifically is silly.). Granary, however, does have a pretty big problem that actually affect newbies the most: the Red spawns. Just think about this: a newbie medic that doesn't use/isn't used to using a kill bind spawning on the completely wrong side of the spawn. Might be a little discouraging, and I think it actually raises the barrier to entering competitive TF2 more than a fixed version would. Granary also has other issues that might as well be fixed with the spawns

Apparently Sal and eXtine mentioned Granary's issues to Valve when they were at Valve HQ, so this post might be irrelevant in the near (or, knowing Valve, distant) future.

SummerI prefer dx 8 because i lag insanely in pubs on dx9 where i can drop to about 30fps, and i don't enjoy the shine effect dx9 provides

The shine effect is a completely different thing; it's controlled by the mat_specular cvar.

Marxist, I use Eastern and it's fine. If you're using Indiana I'd switch to Eastern.

If you have any unsigned plugins (as in, anything that's not P-REC), I'd remove them. I assume you would have them in the custom folder though...

If that's the case, you may need to reinstall.

It is somewhat of a preference thing, although it does help people get more fps. I get 10-15 better average fps with DX8 last I checked with that benchmark, around 144 fps. With DX9, it's around 130. DX8 annoys me (whole screen bleed/piss effect), so I use DX9. Also works better with streaming last I checked. Maybe DX8 is supported better by OBS now.

ErenJayMangachuErenJayWhy did you choose to make second jump-only? I have no idea about maps, but don't they usually allow some way for medics to get on point? I guess in 6v6 it's not such a big deal though...far right wall there is a rampnot to point? (I meant the actual capture point part)

The capture area extends off of the point, like Gully. I might just make it level though.

Also I haven't worked on this in forever. Damn. I've just been waiting for feedback.

Pretty sure Valve will never support a mode that is so far distanced from pubs. 6s is practically a different game.

Edit: I shouldn't say never. It needs to be more proven than HL needs to.
