figsy@enigma @mana Please ban Demarini everyone will be better off
DemariniYeah those first few are real unbiased opinions. I'm sure pubstars agree with you.
You do realize that pubstars have little to no concept of competitive? They won't disagree or agree with that statement. However, the first time I watched a match of highlander, it looked confusing and boring. The first time I watched a 6's pug on b4nny's stream, I sorta understood it and started to get interested. It wasn't until like a month ago that I actually started to see the appeal of highlander.
Experience:ex-pubstar
Demarinithe exact reason that Valve abandoned the TF2 competitive community
????
also stop trying to defend yourself you are totally shitposting
-protothey need to refine their steam android app first. before last week when they added the mobile authenticator to the app it hadn't been updated in over 2 years. the app is crashing for a lot of people as well as myself. just my 2 cents.
It's really slow, has a shitty interface, and has some problems with steam groups. The biggest problem with steam groups is that you can't check events and announcements, which means you have to use the website in a mobile browser. Not fun
DemarinikomorebiDemariniYou do realize this will be 9v9 right?
Matchmaking WILL be 9v9.
Valve has never cared about the competitive community, in CS or in TF2, hell, not even in Dota.
They care about their wallets, and if they can exploit the competitive as a means to an end, they will do it in a heartbeat.
Oh shit dude you were at the meeting and talked to Valve about this stuff?!?! That's sick bro. You know what you should do? You should host a talk show type thing explaining to everybody exactly what happened at the meeting so people don't spread blatant misinformation! Like a podcast type thing. Would really help people from jumping the gun. Thanks, god bless.
Did you not even read my post? I mean logically there is no other choice from Valve's end. If they make matchmaking that will instantly become the most popular thing to play on TF2. Are they going to look at 3 classes, all the hats, and all the weapons people have, all the money they spent, and tell them it's useless? There is just absolutely no fucking way that happens. Especially with highlander already being more popular amongst pubbers(the large majority of the community) than the competitive format...I mean every single thing points to it being 9v9. When has Valve ever cared about the 6v6 format? They pretended to for like..2 months a few years back, but then they realized the money they're making off weapons and skins is so absurd that they're just going to go all in. And they made bank.
Edit - If you can give me one good reason from Valve's end to support the 6v6 format over 9v9, then please do it. I gave you several why Valve will go with 9v9, all very strong points imo. Don't just disregard it out of blind hope, but accept it.
Reasons to support 6v6:
- More competitive at it's core
Often more exciting to watch
Matches and directly competes with overwatch's 6v6
Can be easier for newer players to watch and understand
There's an established paid league with prize pools for valve to support
6's has a lot more LAN events than highlander
There's 6
Hallowi dont see why you gotta kill civilians to do it uknow
wonderful representation of what being an army engineer is like

sick af
Another issue I'm getting with joining servers is that every time it downloads some sounds (all of the classes saying no). Why would it do this?
Please don't remove the customization. Something that valve did with cs:go is create a minimal amount of customization. While that suits the game just fine, I think that now that is going to potentially be a big competitive Esport, you should not remove all of the customization you guys have already allowed us to do ourselves
KhaleesiThis is pretty exciting, and I'm almost shocked that this is happening.
The main question I'd like answered is, "Why now?" What changed? This isn't the first time the community has asked for this, and this isn't the first time something like this has been alluded to happening.
So, what changed? Why now?
I think it's overwatch. While overwatch is quite a different game to tf2, they still share some similarities, especially in terms of 6's (having a 6v6 format most of all). Valve wants a competitive arena shooter to be able to compete with it, and tf2 is perfect. There's not as much risk as creating a new game, as there are already established leagues and a very vibrant community

ZA13 maybe?
Does it have a perfect sensor?
Edit: nvm, I'm an idiot
I don't have any army experience, but I do know this.
Remember that even though the army's salary is low, you get unbelievable benefits. You essentially get free food, water, electricity, housing, medical care, and a free membership to a gym. However, be sure you're willing to be away from your friends and possibly be put at risk of injury or death
SplitBrimstoneZowie FK 2 isn't on there, but can I just assume it's a FK 1 bit smaller?
Yes, here's a graphic.
Is there a smaller mouse that zowie makes?
