ive even seen streams of players like Ringo, famous for his work in The Hurricane, where he is doing shotgun only just waddling around like a facking penguin. now i do this in mge sometimes as a joke just waddle into someone shotgun only and it seems like good practice if ur surfing and tracking AND its really funny. now there's some free thinking.

heres a list of ways i've just invented that u can play soldier in dm:

1. waddle with rockets only, as in wearing gunboats but not even fucking using them
2. the aforementioned shotgun waddle
3. sit on high ground and rain rockets
4. sit on low ground and rain rockets upwards like a sprinkler if u can think of it like that. this is sprinkler style
5. use a different kinda launcher maybe the direct hit
6. practice ur rollouts with scouts shooting at u. this is where we get really avant garde cause u wont be doing the rollout when scouts are shooting u or in a dm situation, u do the rollout when no ones there, but ur doing it anyway
7. just kinda rocket jump around looking for people aimlessly (kinda what im known for back in the day)
8. market gardener? u might look like a retard but it can add a bitta spice to ur sesh

and we can even go on from there maybe i dont wanna invent everything

i didnt even kno u could still play dm cause i thought it was dead and all the servers are always empty when i go and join it which ive wanted to do kinda recently as a replacement for pubbing because then i actually get to play vs players, you know? and its just not really fun anymore just killing pubbers

anyways always saw it as something bad players do to avoid bruising on their fragile egos from mge cause u dont really lose dm u just sort of shoot people but its stupid because its not as hard, especially if u play scout. playing scout in dms really easy u dont even really gotta focus on anyone u just kinda gotta shoot them not even full amount of times and your deaths are largely amounted to things u cant control such as people coming up behind you or a sudden 3 vs 1 situation in which its not really your fault or anyones fault because everyone's mindless and is therefore just not a very good way of practice

as soldier on the other hand i get it because its more realistic to playing 6s like if i ever wanted to play 6s i would play dm as soldier because with soldier, dm is a lot less about just aim its about how you take on the situation which is why players like Drackk are the best soldier in the world but not really that good in mge but that doesn't mean necessarily that his dm is even bad ive watched a match or two where he does some crazy ass shit and its mostly because mge as soldier v soldier is kind of pointless never really played him as scout but enough about Drackk sorry if u read this later Drackk i do really respect you as a player and most importantly a friend

it makes no sense at all that aiming worse = better play. no real person tries to hit 50 damage rockets all game. all the shotgun does is clean up ppl who are 20-50hp after rockets at least on my pov

if ur playing gunboats in ammomod, specifically ammomod idc wat u do on spire then ur just retarded like it doesn't add anything to it. after the 4 rockets if they arent 20 hp 1 shotgun shot away then u got bad rockets anyway u can't say ur practicing just rockets cause ur just reloading a rocket ot kill 10 hp

OR u just equaliser to dodge the 5th rocket, reload ur own 5th rocket and then win that way, regardless of whether or not u would have won the fight or not. idk if u do this because we haven't played long enough for u to try that shit u usually rage leave after like 5 kills but thats all ive seen of gunboats ammomod its legit pointless just retards

and facking furthermore, i can understand vis cause he deadass admits to his flamboyant shit, but u cant even describe what i do and i dont even think i do anything in particular cause just by nature as any class i attempt to kill within 4 rockets/6 scatters so i cant really hold s for that

kn wouldnt even play vis because vis uses the shotgun and if u are 2200+ with a shotgun kn wont even bother play u and this is largely because his elo was farmed off of a friend or some shit and the reason why its still high is because he'll go to spec when he loses (has literally happened every time we play) so i dont rly get why hes flaming vis on the forums ur both retards

ALSO i wanna make a revision to wat i said in the thread prior because its all wrong! nothing in this arena matters other than the belief that u are much better than ur opponent. u can change ur sensitivity to 10 with 1600 dpi, u can play with ur foot, u can spin around, play with a touchpad, play with a steering wheel, etc. nothing matters other than your belief being stronger than the other guy when it comes up to winning anyways.

don't think of it so much as its u vs ur opponent its more like you vs yourself. how much do you believe in yourself? thats a question u gotta dig deep to understand. hope u find this useful.
