ArieLsRainbowsconnecting to a mumble server shouldn't cause any problems unless there's a serious mumble exploit no one knows about yet
Them having your IP address isn't really that useful
Like deetr said already, the point is to make you download a fake mumble client. This has a trojan inside that allows them to control your PC and steal your steam items.
They just straight up gave him the mumble info, deetr is implying that it's weird that they AREN'T asking him to DL a fake mumble client and instead are just probably trying to get his IP.

I'd suggest to do all your work away from the computer. Personally, if I'm even close to something that could distract me, I don't get anything done. Try going to the Uni library to do all your work (and if you have to do it on the computer, use an on-site one or like a laptop that doesn't have your steam/games installed).
