if you believe you will be doing work, such as video editing, that will utilize the extra physical cores of the i5 8600k go for that, I've seen tests that the 8600k does out perform the 7700k in some video rendering in rendering time as well in the preview for most of Adobe's stuff . In a couple of modern games the 8600k out performs the i7 7700k for this reason as well, but on some slightly older games the 7700k outperforms the 8600k very slightly but nothing like a huge gap in both scenarios.

I've seen the i5 8600k for cheaper on amazon by like 50 USD, but not sure how it works for you.

the path in your tf folder should be tf>custom>*folder you named*>sound>ui and thats where your hitsound.wav should be.

Make sure you have hitsounds enabled. I've also have seen people have a hitsound too quiet to notice as sometimes custom ones are quite quiet so you may have to raise the volume of it using tf_dingaling_volume and if thats maxed it may have to be changed in audacity.

edit: tested the hitsound and worked fine for me so theres nothing wrong with the hitsound itself.

Falco/Sheik.

I started off playing Sheik when I started but ended up picking up Falco just for some issues with playing certain Fox styles but eventually just ended up liking Falco's combo game more and Sheik ended up becoming my secondary for just the Marth matchup as I enjoy it better than playing Falco into Marth.

Followed the game for a while but only ever tried playing the game in the past 4 years. I've attended big tournaments near me such as CEOs here and there and Paragon Orlando 2015 and didn't make it far but its still a good time since friendlies are always going on and just hanging out with some cool players.

With today's netplay scene its very easy to find someone with decent ping to become a practice buddy and just grind together. You don't HAVE to go to a local to play the game and practice due to this but locals you can meet some real cool peeps that want to have fun with the game too.

Getting into the game is fun and just learning the mechanics but don't jump into the game trying to be the fanciest player in the world trying to perform some technical stuff like multishines and all that won't be too helpful when learning the basic things like knowing how to move around with your character and neutral/punish game for said character and obviously directional influence (D.I) should come first and the rest comes with it.
