#11 Mouse and Mousepad in Hardware

Zowie FK is really good if you like claw grip, and in my opinion it feels a lot better than a WMO and you have DPI options. The Deathadder and EC1/EC2 are really good too if you have bigger hands or use palm grip (though they can be claw gripped too but not with small hands).

#2 how to be a winner every time in TF2 General Discussion

I'm so guilty of doing this, I always compare myself to players a lot better than me and it demotivates me from getting better so I don't play TF2 at all lol

#18 The Unpopular Opinion in TF2 General Discussion

If getting Valve's support means castrating the current format then fuck them.

This lobby system needs to be done right. I don't mind starting off with highlander lobbies because highlander is basically... an organized pub. But for gods sake a 6s lobby will be watered down shit and new players won't understand the format and won't like the real shit so it will just hinder our efforts.

Highlander lobby: Don't have a problem with, it will benefit the community
6s lobby: Bad unless it's very similar or exactly like ESEA

Not much we can really do here without ruining the current format. Games die out over time, Counter-Strike lasted for more than a decade without much Valve support. Who says we can't do the same? We need to find other ways besides Valve.

#49 would it help? in TF2 General Discussion

Great idea synchro, seems really useful.

Also that layout looks fucking sexy. The only thing I'd get rid of are the red/blue (just make it the same color) simply because teams aren't preselected.

Maybe a "vs." right in between the middle or something?

And maybe an esea logo in one of the bottom corners and remove the faded one at the top so there's just text instead.

Just some of my ideas.

#125 Stupid shit you've done in Off Topic

Back in my first year of air cadets, on the very first day, all of the new people who joined (including me) were gathered around and introduced to what air cadets was (basically what it's about, what you learn here etc, similar to scouts I guess). Well anyways, the person telling us everything wanted everyone to introduce themselves, like our name, age, and lastly (this is key) what our biggest dream in life was.

Well me being the idiot I was (12 at the time) tended to take things a little bit too literally. I thought that by dream, he meant the biggest dream you had (while sleeping), instead of your life's biggest accomplishment. I was confused at one person who said their biggest dream was winning a million dollars (which I thought, well it's a fucking dream, it isn't even real).

It was now my turn and I said my name and age, what part of the area I was from and stuff. Then comes the part where I had to say it. I will quote this. I said "and my biggest dream in life was jumping off a cliff and flying." Literally half the people started laughing and the other half just had what the fuck looks on their faces. Me still being the dumbass I was got even more confused as to why people were laughing at me. The guy sitting beside me said it was the strangest dream to have in life he has ever heard before. I just said "no it was fun dude, I was flying and shit, it was pretty surreal."

God I was so dumb.

#58 Opinion on Mice? in Hardware

Sensor wise?

WMO/IMO/IME 3.0
Deathadder/Abyssus
Zowie EC/AM/FK

I've used a Deathadder and EC1 myself, both have great sensors, but they are too big and heavy IMO. I liked the sensor on the deathadder so I bought an abyssus, and am a lot happier with it (though it jitters on the puretrak but not on the goliathus speed).

#41 Instruments anyone? in Off Topic

Solo Fingerstyle Acoustic Guitar.

It's a lot more difficult than playing with a pick and most of the songs that sound really good with this kind of style can take months of practice to get right and requires ridiculous amounts of finger dexterity. It pays off so much in the end though once you can play it perfectly.

#97 Little TF2 things that annoy you. in TF2 General Discussion

Pyros who think they play the greatest fucking class in the entire game

Wrangling faggots who sit half way across the map and spam A and D. Gayest shit in the entire game (above pyros).

Mini-sentries that take 3 fucking rockets to blow up and then an engineer just shits out another one at full hp and switches to wrangler so it takes another 6 fucking rockets to kill (which he then collects the metal and puts another one up).

#16 Good Mousepad? in Q/A Help

I use the Corsair MM200 and it gives my mouse very accurate movement (more than my Puretrak Talent even).

Artisan is good if you need speed and glide, the goliathus speed is also good. Qpad CT is one of the best but it's really expensive.
