MiNiseeing how a gaming career is an accepted part of their culture always surprises me everytime
While its more accepted than it is here, I think its still a bit misrepresented in the film. I spoke to a few Koreans at my school who used to live there, and they generally say people wanting to be pro gamers isnt actually that common. There is a lot more stress there on getting an education.

To answer your question, goat recently remade the hud from scratch I believe and likely scrapped the settings program. I probably have the most recent version with the settings program before the revamp if you want it, but it's out-dated.
Universerulerfroyotech didn't drop a single map in the knockout stage, that never happened in i46/i49
I'm not sure what you're trying to say here, but neither LG nor Mixup dropped a map to a European team at i46
The sound levels really killed any hype in the grand finals too. The lack of game sound and huge amounts of white noise from the mics made it feel really empty and awkward.

flameYou guys seem to be missing the point that you're asking for $60 to buy into a tournament that is only 1 day long and only announcing that its 1 day long AFTER you hype everyone to show up for a 3 day event
1) The tournament buy-in is $20. The other 40 you are paying for the event. How else would you want it? The buy-in goes directly to the prize pool, and there wouldn't be an event if people didn't have to pay for it.
2) It was pretty clear from the start that the tournament was only on 1 day.
3) Look at WCRV for example, the event was only 1 day, and didn't even have an official tournament, yet people still spend similar amounts of money to go to it. Like you said, this is a community LAN, so why are you concerned with competition. Concern yourself with meeting the community and playing fun tf2.
