hmm ideally i would suggest double elimination with 2 servers running but if you only have one it might be better to have single. Ask the teams though, see what they want/are willing to put up with

Charity events aren't made to give people charitable people a place to put their money, they're made to convince people to be charitable in the first place.

there's a sweet spot of signups where double elimination is perfect. As in, not too many where it takes forever, but not so few where it's not worth it. I think with a 2-key signup event where soldier mains measure each other's dicks you'll probably hit that sweet spot.
