I've really disliked the trend developers are taking with over-simplifying the display and mouse settings in new FPS games. Every single time I have had to deal with a sensitivity slider that doesn't give me a number and a feeling of built-in acceleration it's incredibly frustrating.

It's only the huge amount of competition and popularity surrounding CS that makes KennyS AWP plays so great. Nobody knows for sure how well he would do sniping in TF2 competitively and how much of his actual FPS skill transitions over; I'm honestly willing to bet not that much though. They are completely different ways of sniping with their own huge learning curves.

The only time I've ever seen an Invite AWPer picking up sniping in TF2 was m0E, and the guy missed enough shots in a pub that you could tell no matter how much AWPing experience he had he was still incredibly new.

I will always remember and love this play because no matter how much I've improved since I think I could never replicate it in a match environment ever again.

I've been having a lot of trouble with my ping when every minute or so my ping will suddenly spike to ~250ms from normal for about 5 seconds causing everyone including myself to teleport around the map. These are incredibly consistent. At first this was an issue exclusive to the TF.TV DM and ESEA servers but it's affecting everywhere at this point.

My internet is more than capable of handling the connection and I no longer have bandwidth problems since we've picked up a much better router last night. Is there a way to fix this issue?

I'm definitely planning on going this year.

Hey, I just wanted to follow up on my original post and mention that I've made some significant improvements to my HUD edit. I still don't think I've made it original enough to warrant my own thread but here's a huge update:

• Re-positioned almost all of the charge meters to fit with the HUD's main theme
  
• Fixed the Engineer build/destroy panels and the Metal/Crit counter from being out of place
  
• Fixed the Spy disguise menu and disguise ID from being out of place
  
• Added custom Vaccinator bar for the Medic
  
• Changed the location of the Sticky counter for Demoman
  
• Added ZimHud control points (doesn't work on sv_pure 2) and made the icons a little bigger
