at LAN there was map picking but I think after s18 that stopped cause online
online playoffs have always had set maps although before s18 it was 1 map / round double elim
saamI don't think I can remember the last time NFF scrimmed with their starting roster/didn't offclass/took a scrim seriously and if there's anything Mustard has shown he can do it's upset teams that underestimate him. I see them knocking out NFF if Slemnish plays as well as he can and doesn't just die to projectiles over and over

because to properly be an IGL in CS you have to dedicate time to establishing strats and understanding how different teams play different situations which can break into the time and stress other pros use for aim and individual gamesense
TF2 isn't at such a level where there are top teams that are constantly evolving between events that occur every week or two

having played with 144hz and 60hz on LAN while normally playing on a very shitty 60hz monitor
it is very much so worth the upgrade, noticeably so
