#4 I can't enable Knuckles Crosshairs in Customization

You've left a bracket open in your clientscheme. Search through for { and eventually you'll find that there is one that doesn't have a } at the end of a section.

#3193 PC Build Thread in Hardware

Yeah but what FPS do you wanna get in these games, 60, 120, 240, or more?

What games do you also mean, generally, you say newer games at playable framerates, but that is 60fps to most people. The difference between getting 60 at low settings in a game or 60 at ultra will be two completely different computer specs.

#17 Fix for lingering HUD animations on death in Customization

Put this in hudanimations.txt or hudanimations_custom.txt, presferably _custom, if your hud has that file.

Go to hudanimations.txt or hudanimations_custom.txt, whichever your HUD has, and find HudHealthBonusPulse, there will be something similar to "Animate PlayerStatusHealthValue" change the value of the "fgcolor" of that to the RGB values you want.

typtoCurrently using a fresh download verison of Ellshud from Hypnotize's hud thread. The quickplay buttons are all nulled up somehow. I tried removing/changing gamemenu.res/mainmenuoverride

help

They're all redundant now, you can still use a button to launch the server browser but you need to use the topbar "find a game" button like on the default HUD to find casual games.

Do the same, I meant to say MainMenuOverride and just typed out the wrong shit.

#2 Change menu picture of a HUD? in Customization

In Resource/ui go to mainmenu.res and find "Background". There's a bunch of if_ values there for the background image, but I think if you just chagne all of them to the same image it'll work fine.

Take the image you have and make into a vtf and save it as it "background_2fort.vtf" and make another called "background_2fort_widescreen.vtf". Then in mainmenuoverride.res have the image in the background section be background_2fort.vtf or background_2fort_widescreen depending on your aspect ratio.

#8 Is there a way to combine my HUD with another? in Customization

Just take the .res files you want from one hud, copy paste into resource/ui of the other HUD. Change fonts as required.
