I had around 21 days playtime on a pyro dodgeball server back in 2009. Mainly because the community was sick.

did anyone get the clip where sideshow butterknifed permzilla to death?
CraspStalling is essentially defending a lead, I think it's a perfectly valid tactic.
Having said that, I'm very curious as to how a timelimit 0 rule could work on 5cp maps...
6 hour snakewater games
I realise last post was 2 weeks ago but a murder just happened in my street.
Maybe he's scared that mango will influence showstopper to 20beat his ass in playoffs?
If you're using the overlay, try turning it off. Seems to be the thing that causes the most issues with mumble.
You can use this mouse in either wireless or wired mode. According to the threads on overclock.net the mouse has a ~ 1 ms delay between wireless and wired mode (1.2ms according to logitech's CPate). Wired apparently the performance is the same as the g303 and g502. I'd imagine that could increase in non ideal situations but a 1ms delay is really not going to do much. The shape is way better than most other logitech mice and the weight is pretty good considering it has to have a battery.
The main problem is the crazy price which makes it completely not worthwhile. I wouldn't be surprised if they brought out a cheaper wired version down the line or the price drops though.
Damn I got ninjad but yeah.
Bdonskiit has less to do with whether or not it's overpowered and more to do with a passive bonus being an alternative to an aim dependent weapon being a really dumb concept
either way judging by how most invite players feel about it it will likely be banned next season
You could kind of apply that argument to gunboats as well though and I'm sure when they came out people
There's way less of a contest between gunboats and shotgun than there is between booties and pipes as well.
I think the issue most people have is it can be used as a crutch if you aren't very good, but I think they could end up changing the role the demo plays like we've seen with gunboats pocket. Removing airpipes does suck though.
Ond_kajaPlease don't make a fundraiser to go to dhs... It will impede on the fundraisers for i58 which is a much more prioritised event.
I agree with this for this year but there's no reason iseries has to be the biggest event going. In some ways it's good to have competition between lans because there will be more incentive for sponsors to offer higher prizepools to make their lan the important/prioritised one. I'll take what we can get at this stage but if TF2 gets bigger iSeries really isn't a big deal as lans go and Dreamhack is probably a bigger name in terms of making the game look legitimate.
Might be worth mentioning the date of the actual DHS lan in the OP which is 18th-21st of June which is sick because my exams finish that week, although I might have one on the 18th which would kill actually going.
How did sheepy manage to make this thread even worse than it already was?
I'm not even mad that takes some talent.
ZestyTF2Center drama is the worst kind of drama
Most mice are relatively durable and should function for a couple of years, allowing for feet replacement. Most mice that have issues that cause them not to work (Like some of the logitech ones with the dodgy cable) are normally reported and found out pretty early on.
The two mice I've used with the best feeling build quality are the Roccat Kone Pure Military and the Mionix Castor. Both feel very nice to hold and have good button presses.
KPM needs to have its firmware updated to the latest version to fix bugs with the mouse and the shape is something some people might not like, might throw mouse's balance off for some people. This mouse does have really nice buttons and a great scrollwheel and feels really comfortable (imo).
Castor is more expensive, has less clicky feeling buttons but a very nice material. It's probably nice to palm but has 2 finger grooves on the right hand side which force your finger positions which made it uncomfortable to aim in game with for me although palming it for desktop use is nice.
I've also heard good things from a quality and price perspective about the EVGA Torq X5 if you're into ambi mice but it does have a glossy coating which most people don't like.
I don't think the issue here is actually the shape of the hitbox though, the jittering in and out would still occur if the collision hull shape was changed because that's the only way I can think of stopping players getting stuck inside each other. Changing the bounding box to be a smaller cylinder would also probably make hitting projectiles a lot harder and scouts even better than they are already. I'm not sure I'd want valve to fuck with that.
Yeah pretty sure collision hulls are what calculate this so it's wider on the diagonals etc. You can kind of test it by wing into a player standing still and strafing and seeing how you slide around them.
I have no proof the game actually does this, but I think it's logically how they'd stop people from getting stuck inside each other. It just comes from having to play really gay with movement on scout when I was on a shitty jittery laptop and couldn't aim. People accused me of ratehacking a lot. The main problem with doing this is that any decent scout will kill you before you get into the ridiculously close range you need to do this.
