I've never been a fighting game guy, have hardly played any except for Super Smash Bros on the N64. This game is probably the most fun I've had in a long time when it comes to gaming. Since I've never gotten used to playing fighting games with a controller, I can use the keyboard and mouse pretty well. I just re-bind Z and X in my Razer Synapse config to mouse 2 and 4. and then use WASD for movement related things. Works pretty well for me. Is a controller a lot easier to play with, am I at a disadvantage?
I bound everything to my fight stick just cause I'm used to it but i doubt you're really at a disadvantage. It's just like super meat boy speedrunning, keyboard or controller is just preference.

They set the map list several weeks before the season even starts, and whoever does client/servers at ESEA probably isn't really in the scene, I know at LAN the same guy was doing CS and TF2 servers
That being said the official version is nearly a year old and has been used before. The fact that the site still calls it cp_snakewater and not cp_snakewater_final1 (process for example is listed as cp_process_final) makes me wonder if someone doesn't know, since they did use g7 for a bit

Unless they change their mind this is just a name change and brand expansion, nothing more thankfully
IBP may not have a solid history at Euro LANs, but for what it's worth, they won ESEA, have stayed in Europe since G3 (so no jet lag), and just won CKotH from Na'Vi, of all teams, who had been undefeated in that event for 3 weeks (admittedly an online event but still). I wouldn't be surprised to see them pull something off.
A lot of those remind me of settings in CS lobbies too (wait for players to load, etc)...

the crosshairs in the hud are part of the hud and can't be changed, broesel's crosshair switcher only works with in-game crosshairs
