Currently at 92 (28 EU -- 64 NA)
Would like to see more EU entries (Please Use Sunshine)
10 are not valid, I sent messages for corrections.
I can't recall EU ever playing Metalworks?
Why are EU dude putting it in their rankings?
I was curious as to the individual opinions on the maps we play every season.
I would be really interested to compile some stats on over 100 opinions about rating our current map pool.
If interested, rate from Most Liked Map to Least Liked Map.
This is mine for an example
Gullywash
Snakewater
Metalworks
Granary
Badlands
Viaduct
Sunshine
Process
EDIT: If you put Reckoner in your list, I am going to assume you are EU so NA guys should not include Reckoner.
2 EDIT: If you put choices that are not included in current maps (BAGEL), I am going to ignore your post at the end.
HKCan't find the video or stats, but I believe it was S13 LAN Mixup on Metalworks where Ruwin had ~500 DPM. If you like watching scout DM, this would be the match to watch.
Do you mean this game?
He had 400 DPM and top frags but the match only lasted 16 minutes on metalworks, which is a crazy roll. Not sure how that can be an underrated match.
BeelthazusFor me, dm soaps most valuable utility is in its ability to train situational awareness. You have three other guys on your team, it's your job to one; play your role, and two; focus targets who have already had damage dealt to them. Friendly fire would defeat the purpose in this type of training. You might as well play mge at that point.
Sorry friend but DM does not teach situational awareness. There is also no "role" to play in DM regardless of the class you pick. A lot of people care only about being the "top fragger" when the map ends, so DM is basically shooting people who are not looking at you for easy kills. That is not focusing fire, it is just trying to get a free health pack and a reload of your rocket/scatter clip.
ritaSpaceCadetI would love for DM mod to focus more on team fighting instead of the individual.
I have no clue if this idea is possible to implement but my vision for DM servers would be:
4v4 (just like it currently is setup)
each team of 4 spawns on their side of mid
round starts
both teams fight until one side is completely dead
Both teams respawn at the same time
another round begins
rinse and repeat, until time limit hit
Don't get me wrong, I love DM the way it is setup right now.
I just think that making DM a little structured would be an improved way to practice and a lot of fun.
there could be that one player that just runs away just to be annoying and not start the next fight
I thought about that and I see no reason the server ban list couldn't grow.

teleporter snakewater last defense, can't wait to attempt it
It is perfectly fine for all of us regular players to have different opinions on what level of cheating is acceptable. Some ppl like me wish for a return to 0 tolerance but others want game specific bans and offer the famous loophole "well he didn't cheat at LAN"
It has always been up to our league admins to set the standard when it comes to cheating/cheaters. In the old days, we had 0 tolerance and it did not matter if u got caught in a pub or a match. Maybe that is why I can't change my mind or feel differently about cheating and likely never will.
BooopmustardoverlordinsomI don't know half the players on that list, but as long as they didn't get caught cheating in league/competitive play, I don't feel like there's any need to crucify them/exile them out of the community. If you wanna spinbot in csgo pubs, I really couldn't care less.
pharaoh
habib
karl (if highlander counts as invite/prem/well-liked which it mostly doesn't)
and arguably (or at least the reaction was less than it should have been):
madoff
kev
bunny
Straight up idiotic viewpoint. This is almost like saying that running red lights and stop signs is perfectly fine as long as I don't get caught by the police or get in an accident.
Your attitude will make more people want to install and try cheats because of no consequences.
Didn't phrakture as well?
