This is literally all you or anyone else had to fucking say. Instead of just answering a simple question with a simple answer, from someone who is obviously uninformed, it turned into a nit-picking session even after I admitted that I was wrong/vague.

I was vague and not helpful. I said it twice. I apologized and said I was wrong for even asking with little info.

I did say what game and I said future games as well.
My post (#6) was as simple as I could possibly put my questions.
If they still can't be answered, that is fine, all I did was pose a question.
The tone of the answers seem like angry Geek Squad employees from Best Buy annoyed at people who don't know all the technical details of computers.

Its hard for me to give the exact details you are talking about because I am frankly not sure what they are, so like I said in post #12, its obviously my fault and he can't help with that vague information.

I never asked how to assemble or where buy my new computer so I have no idea why that is even a topic.
My exact budget isn't a concern because I never asked anyone to make my computer for me. Even so, I just said if I needed to go 5k, I could, so the number is right there.

In my OP, the main question was on the merits of different processors since there are several to choose from and any research I did wasn't helpful. Any additional questions I had were just random choices on ibuypower that I had several options for but figured to ask anyways.

Perhaps that basic question just isn't enough information for a good answer. If more detail is needed for the answer then I guess its my fault.

I mean obviously buying individual parts and assembling your own computer can cut costs and I guess, as you say, increase performance. This isn't an option for me so yes ibuypower sounds like a good deal. I got my last 2 Cpu's from there, they have done well by me and I can afford the extra cost.

My questions were more geared towards the items I could not research on my own with any confidence.

I said high end computer and high budget. I wouldn't drop 5k on it but I could if I felt like it.

The whole reason for my thread was because on ibuypower, I can choose and afford any of the options they offer.
Naturally I don't want to overspend on things that may be overpriced or not really needed.

I didn't just blindly make the post, I did try and do some research.

I try and do some homework before spending this kind of money but on a site like ibuypower, there is a lot to consider and a lot of choices for processors.

My current rig doesn't play Quake Champions at a high enough level for me. It is very playable but not at high quality, so that made me want to upgrade, not just for Quake Champions, but for down the line several years.

Budget is high, I am aiming for high end stuff.

I understand that I listed 4 differently named processors. I was more asking what is the real difference between them and wondering if it would even be necessary to get the biggest and best.

So I will likely be doing a major upgrade to my PC in the near future. Aiming for fairly high end stuff and was curious about which processor to choose.

I want to be able to play the new games that come out for years to come and was unsure which way to go, AMD or Intel. How can one tell the difference between:

Z270 and x99 for Intel Core i7.
Ryzen 5x or 7x for AMD.

A few additional questions:

--- Recommendations on a good high quality motherboard?

--- I see options for "Sound Dampening Foam" and "Sound Reduction System"
They say it is for Noise Reduction. Are these even worth the extra cost? or are they BS?

---- Why are AMD video cards cheaper than GeForce?
Even if I choose the most expensive AMD card, the GeForce cards seem to outclass them.
GeForce prices can go really high so I assume much better quality. Am I wrong?

Since I started playing competitive video games, I have had notes taped to my monitor reminding myself to do or not do certain things such as bad aiming habits and other in-game quirks I can't seem to lose.

For some reason, reading and reminding myself during a scrim/match will help a lot.

Two different times that I can vividly remember

1 - I use clear gel deodorant. After I took a shower, I was butt naked in my room when I dropped the deodorant stick, it hit the floor and one of the globs of gel shot up and went right into my left eye. There was no delay, the pain was instant and it literally dropped me to my knees. I flushed out my eye for the longest time but that feeling of intense instant pain has stuck with me.

2 - In my early 20's I used to train pretty often in different fighting arts. I'm no expert in anything but I have always been small and strong with a wrestling base so I used to throw people around without using much technique in whatever class I was taking. I was getting cocky during a Jiu-Jitsu class by denying others techniques simply because I was physically stronger. One of the higher level BJJ guys came over to spar with me instead. He was actually quite smaller than I was and taught me a serious lesson when I underestimated him. When we were locked up, he hit me in my leg, above my knee, and I honestly thought my leg split in half from the pain. Intense pain isn't even the word as I fell to the ground and the bottom half of my body was just not working correctly. It faded in a few minutes and he told me that he attacked the Femoral Nerve in my leg. He went on to show me several other pressure points on the body that can be painful and effective in fights if used correctly.

Dropping 4K on a game-mode/league that will never achieve what you think it has the potential to reach.

The real shame is that 7v7's greatest potential is to further divide a community that badly needs to come together to reach the next level. He doesn't care about that.

The time for TF2 making it as an eSport may have already passed so maybe everyone should just accept that he can use his money and time the way he chooses. He clearly doesn't want to support bringing the community together but he wants to try and plant a feather in his own cap for making a new game-mode.

Congrats, a bunch of 6's players will win your money again and the next day will not care at all about your format.

In front of 300+ viewers isn't exactly to themselves but I guess it depends on the way you look at it.

The only "toxic" thing that really annoys me happens pretty regularly on streams from the top players.

I'm not one to rip on the guy but b4nny is easily the worst offender and the best example. Lots of times the dude will die and he will say "what is he doing?" or "why is he even there?" or another phrase to try and indicate that he would not have died if the other player was just doing what he expected him to do.

I mean, you fucking died, its ok. One way or another you were either unlucky, fucked up, or were outplayed in that instance. It is a terribly toxic mindset to have, especially for the best players who should be above such things.

What annoys me the most is that I have begun to do this from time to time in scrims. I get fucking owned by someone and want to blame the other player because of their positioning or style of play. That is fucking idiotic and I hate myself after I say it every single time. I don't know how I got infected but I am confident it was from watching these streams.
