#26 Longest pee in Off Topic

one of my teachers in high school wouldn’t let us use the bathroom. The period was around two hours long so I had to wait until we switched classes. It took so long to get it all out I wished it would just stop, i’d say it lasted one minute but it felt like an eternity

I ended up being late to my next class

a lot of people increase digital vibrance from ranges of 75-100 (most lean towards 90-100) check how that comes out.

this helped, but i changed digital vibrance to 65. anything over 75 makes everything look orange

eskimoCheck if your Picture Mode is set to FPS in your monitor's settings, and if it is set it to standard. That's what was wrong with mine at first.

It’s already set to standard

mastercomsmaniacalmastercomsWhat do you have r_shader_srgb set to?
set to 0
Try -1 or 1.

-1 and 1 seem to have the same result. Setting it to 1 almost removes the beige color, but makes everything else look very dark

the colors on my monitor seem fine for the most part, except for white which is a beige color.
any idea for a fix? i'm using the xl2411

and an odd note, whenever i shift tab for a moment the colors turn back to regular white on my hud, but when i return to game they go back to beige

#2719 PC Build Thread in Hardware
SetsulVulcanI don’t care too much about an ssd since I already have a hdd in my laptopIs there any magic in laptop HDDs that makes nearby desktop HDDs perform like an SSD or what logic is this?
VulcanWould 1k be enough to get a build that can sustain 144 frames?Which game and at what resolution and settings?
VulcanIf the shipping for the 144hz is too much I can always buy a vg248qe from Best BuyDon't.

I know this may be unrealated, but why don’t you favor the vg248qe? Is it the colors? I currently have one, and I don’t see any problems with it. Also, since I am moving my setup I ordered a new xl2411 for a change.

#1 l4d2 interp in Off Topic

As with tf2, I like to set my interp to the lowest value as my shots are usually more accurate. But with L4D2, when I set my interp value lower than the default value of 100, the common infected tend to stutter. This does not happen to the special infected. The lower the interp, the more stuttering comes from the common infected. It gets bad enough to the point where they're practically teleporting. Does anybody know why this happens, or if there is a fix?

my net settings

rate "100000" (Default 10000)
cl_cmdrate "101" (Default 30)
cl_updaterate "101" (Default 20)
cl_interp "0.1" (Default 0.1)
cl_interp_ratio "-1"
