Yeah, that is the major problem with lowering the cap timer - once there have been 2 failed pushes into last and you're defending, there's 2 minutes left on the clock. If you push you might lose the round, if you turtle you will reset the timer and have another chance at mid. Frankly I'd rather stick with what we have now.

This isn't a common thing even in high-level official matches in europe because nobody really cares enough to sit there and wait forever - their desire to do something fun is more than their desire to win tbh.
The only way to solve this for really tryhard teams (who won't even push on a huge advantage) is to literally force them to push. So you need some kind of a rule which forces an attacking team to push without being awful for the defending team. Apart from the round timer, can anyone suggest a rule that would do this? And if you did shorten the round timer, what would you shorten it to?
this is admirable, the most reliable source of news in our community, how could you ever doubt him
this should be good haha
yeah in a situation like this I have to wonder why you'd bother casting it
eXtine....
Darwin Danger Shield has been kicked around as an OP weapon but really its only impact is to be obnoxious to spies and force them to revolver the sniper if thats the pick they want to make. It requires a change of tactics from the team to address it, but its not overly problematic.
Maybe this is why people aren't overly enthusiastic about you making a "reasons why unlocks are banned" video :D
Darwin's Danger Shield is the one which grants you 25 extra health and 15% damage resistance to bullets, in exchange for 20% extra splash damage. You're thinking of the razorback I imagine.
EDIT: God fucking dammit Kaneco.
no, that one airs in the UK on the 12th of January. The most recent episode was s03e02.
Also, while the 5th season isn't confirmed as such (no word on whether the actors are prepared to do it) the writers have already started writing for it. http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2014-01-08/sherlock-weve-plotted-out-the-whole-of-series-4-and-5-reveals-steven-moffat
I have tried playing with all unlocks allowed, but with the same maps and classlimits and it's truly horrible. It was a total mess more resembling a pub than a scrim despite people communicating properly and the players being good. Maybe that would appeal to people who enjoy pubbing? I certainly didn't find it fun.
I guess eventually after 3 or so seasons some "cookie cutter" strats would be formed that would stabilise it a bit, but then new players would just have to learn them if they wanted to progress past shitter level.
Imo it's like learning a sport, it takes time to learn the rules and how everything is played - you can't just go from bouncing a ball around with your friends on the road to playing in a basketball league without some in between steps where you learn the rules, what's allowed and what isn't, how it is played and the strats. I personally don't think it makes any sense to allow everything in order to get more attention. Time would be better spent making the transition as easy and as appealing as possible.
Why is widowmaker banned in ESEA? Can't imagine it making all that much difference.
disappointing :(
I think (hope) it's setting us up for an epic finale though...
Found this episode pretty easy to predict but still entertaining, the theories had me laughing. I really liked in the previous versions that the deductions were fairly extreme but still within the boundaries of reason, hope they bring in more of that Sherlock pizzazz.
And you can get the scoreboard timer on the hud to help out, I don't know why more people don't have it really but it's an option.
How active is MLG? And financially stable?
no he had to travel down on the thursday and sleep over to then fly on friday morning
I think the reason he planned it for then was that nobody anticipated the playoffs being delayed so long by the tie in prem? Idk
