It's about 100% percent faster on AVX2. AVX2 = Integer and Integers are used a lot.

TurinWelcome to the tf2 community, where we can join together to send two teams across the world for the cost of 20,000 dollars, and then we immediately turn and call each other shitlords.

tornados2111Also what do you guys know about the 4670K instead? I heard that it gets really hot but that's about it. It could possibly be a better option for Gourde?
The 4670K should be about the same price and is 5-15% faster right now. Anything that uses AVX2 or FMA3 (most programs will do that in the next few years) should perform even better.
The 4670K is harder to overclock if you don't delid it but otherwise the temperatures are fine.
If you can get a 4670K and a LGA1150 motherboard for max 50$ more than the 3570K + a similar mobo then go for it.
GourdeThanks guys ill try to put togther something good with your advices. But I was wondering, why intel over amd ? amd is cheaper in some cases right ? is it just better to go with intel and why ?
i5-3570K or fx-8350 (oc'd or not) doesn't really matter.
The intel has the better per core performance so it will perform better in games with worse multithreading. In case you didn't know: TF2's multithreading is shit.
madcra7yHow about a Mac client first? Not gonna pay a shit-ton for a bootcamp partition of Windows just to play a game -_-
You use an apple product, you should be used to paying a shit-ton for everything.
Apart from the interesting facts we learned about diamonds, the hardest metal of all time, it seems like we've found the lost cousin of olurist20052005.

Needs more harbleu drop faceplant though
kiriHRG 5 - 2 AG
HRG 5 - 1 Vector
HRG 5 - 0 .iT
HRG 5 - -1 mix^ ????
HRG 5 - 2 AG -> HRG - 3 = AG
AG 5 - 2 mix^ -> AG - 3 = mix^
-> HRG - 6 = mix^
-> HRG 5 - -1 mix^
q.e.d.
Try it without putting it in a vpk, not sure if hitsounds still don't work in vpks.
PlatypusEDIT: Funny how I started with an 1800 dollar build and worked up to a 2300 dollar one T_T
You could go for the i5-3570k and a GTX 670 to save some money.
Is there a reason for the i7?
YawnyI was looking on hardwareversand and there's two types or processors, boxed and tray. Is there a difference in performance or what? The tray one is €5 less as well
never mind I think I get it now
boxed -> with stock cooler -> buy if you won't overclock
tray -> no cooler -> buy a good cpu cooler so you could overclock
tornados2111Find the range of values of K so that Kx^2 - 2Kx - 3K - 12 = 0 has real roots.
Not sure if that means that the equation must have 2 real roots for every K, if not then it's discriminant >= 0.
BetaI am also surprised nobody has mentioned this. Those codes showing represent errors whilst loading on in your motherboard, maybe look them up in your motherboard book? :)
4F 36 69 ...they are what I mean by beeps.
I'm pretty sure that these are q-codes (page 48/49)
4F = DXE IPL is started
36 = CPU post-memory initialization
69 = System Agent DXE initialization is started
Everything that was or could ever be suggested is in the list
omniAnd none of these have worked so far, but thanks for the suggestions.
I forgot to post this yesterday but i doubt that you have done this within 12 minutes:
snailhttp://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems
check all the steps
CHECK ALL THE STEPS and not just like "Nah, i'm sure if done it right", check every single thing.
It's almost guaranteed that at least one part out of psu, motherboard, RAM and CPU is either shorted out, broken (maybe related to that) or just not connected the right way otherwise you'd get those neat error beeps (unless you managed to forget to plug the system speaker in or broke it).
