Yeah there are plenty of open source multiplayer games that don't have issues. It will probably be patched quickly. I will say that this once again proves security through obscurity is fucking retarded.

tsarScrewBy less fun to play in a competitive setting (for me at least).It also makes it so you actually need to think which drastically increases the skill ceiling on the easiest class in the game.
I love these changes and hope we get NA games running them.
I think there is a bit of a disconnect between the thing you quoted and what you are saying m8.

TcmanoAt the time at lot of the changes were to make medic more enjoyable to play in order to entice people to play it in MM. Because MM doesn't have have any mandatory classes, and people can choose any class, it makes sense to make medic as enjoyable as possible so there are more people who are willing and actually like playing the class in MM, instead of just ending up with a no medic team, or bullying a player into going medic. The crossbow buff and medic movement were apart of that iirc.
Ironically this has made medic significantly less fun to play in a competitive setting (for me at least).

- Devalued pocket Soldier
- Dumbed down Medic positioning
- Dumbed down rollouts
- Made Roamer's job even more difficult
- low advantage pushes and even exchanges are no longer anywhere near as viable because Medics can just run away at scout speed
- dry pushes are even more difficult because Medics can hold close safely making stuffing choke easier and sacs harder increasing stalemates
- started the incredibly annoying and boring mid rotation meta on Process style maps
- dumbed teamfights down to whoever has more scouts alive
- heal management? LOL JUST HEAL SCOUTS

#1 Gunboats do not affect self damage against enemies
#2 You do realize soldier has some base self damage resistance independent of the gunboats right?
Gunboats and shotgun all have their trade offs.
The trade off is mobility. Even with this buff gunboats would still have a substantial mobility advantage.
You also cannot buff a class with a base resistance like that either.
Why not?
