#35 cell phones in Off Topic

Buy your lg nexus 5 off google THEN get a plan and deal the shit out of it.. And if youre not happy then get another plan.. its much easier when you own your phone instead of paying 0 initial cost for the cellphone with a plan

#1 RoodY lft Roamer/demo/med - IM in Recruitment (looking for team)

Hey I'm looking to play Roamer, demo or medic for this upcoming season in IM or top Open

I'm a smart player and getting a very decent DM on Soldier and Demo
As for Med I abuse the crusader crossbow but tend to do amazing with it but it usually pays off the increased time to build my charges, I also mainly use the UBER and very rarely switch over to Kritz.

I have a deep understanding of the game mechanics in general and my gamesense is my strongest attribute.

As a person I tend to be very honest and it sometimes makes me come out as a rude person but I'm a nice person, I like to help people when they ask. I Also enjoy pugs.

My schedule is quite open.

#75 Do you PUG? Why/Why Not? in TF2 General Discussion
PapaSmurf323boulder you are describing exactly what #tf2mix already does

I don't see any reason to turn pug.na into another tf2mix

But the whole question was Why did pug.na pretty much died, And debating what caused it,
Sure it isnt the main subject of the thread but thats all he was saying.

#48 Do you PUG? Why/Why Not? in TF2 General Discussion
cyzerI am wondering what has killed interest in tf2.pug.na specifically

Maybe cause most invite/top players don't ever do invite pug anymore and they just use the Tf2.pug.na system to play thier so called invite pug and they just pick the same people over and over to the point where theres no reason to add because by the time your pug ends the same people who were just playing add back to pick the same people who just played.

#28 Do you PUG? Why/Why Not? in TF2 General Discussion

I have a complete different opinion of Pugs,
Sure there is alot of circlejerk and often enough the same people get picked over and over again.
there is still tf2mix pickup system which makes sure anyone gets to play if they can wait for the "non captain" draft that consist in letting the non picked draft from the last captain draft to get picked.

Anyway, I often get in arguments when I tell people that PUGS is the greatest way to improve a player skill to a certain cap.
It mixes the DM that you would look for in DM servers,
It mixes the Gamesene and the comms that you get from scrim and matches to a certain degree.

I Mostly got all my TF2 experience from playing non-stop pugs at a certain time and I deffinatly noticed a great difference in term of skill.

The thing people don't like in PUGS is how unorganised it can get because of the different skill gap you can find in a mix of random people playing together for 30 min And how bad it gets when people use diffent loadout than the regular meta, When people don't play seriously and are out of position.
BUT thats the whole reason pugs are so great. You will never get the experience you can gather from PUGS with matches in term of gamesence and versatility. You get to make decisions when things don't just go the way it has to go. You get to make up new strategy or decide your next move with uncommon environement. It makes you practice your decision making and your flexibility.
You also get yo play with different player skills, Which makes it so you get to face people with different reactions to event and so you can't always predict the best move your opponent will want to do because each of them have a different tf2 Background.

Sure now theres so much more fucking around than there used to be when I first started pugging, but pug systems in general when the administration is good and when people play to get better I don't think theres a faster way than playing pugs to get better.
