Can't wait to see how the chinese team plays, back in dinosaur age of 1.6 asian teams were super entertaining to watch thanks to their mad aim zero tactics gameplay.
Also F3 vs C9 is pretty hype, s1mple hyper aggro combined with hyper passive Hiko can work out very well.
KanecoAnyone else feel they're adding new mercs way too fast? When I first played in the closed beta you had like 6-7 mercs, now its like 13 or 14. Shouldn't they be saving them to release them periodically later when the game is officially released? If they keep pumping new mercs like this it's gonna be hard to keep up or mantain a stable meta.
Well the meta is easier to balance once all the mercs are out there, and also i would understand that they would like to get the mercs out asap so they can concentrate more into performance tweaking\balancing\new maps\everything else

Air_the time it takes most soldiers to learn to ctap consistently would be better spent actually being able to hit rockets
to this day i can't vanilla ctap, but with skeej's ctap script i learned it almost instantly.

bind mouse2 +ctapskeejSo what this does is bind crouch to mouse2, and once mouse2 is pressed, mouse1 changes from +attack to both +attack and +jump for one click. After you use mouse1 once, it rebinds itself back to just +attack. So for a ctap you click mouse2 -> mouse1 in quick succession, while you can still keep your normal crouch and jump buttons unchanged (you just need a new button for the “ctap-crouch”, which i used mouse2 for)
Getting the ctap “rhythm” down with right-left mouse is really easy, and unless you use one of those banner unlocks you won’t need mouse2 (normally attack2) on soldier anyway.

EXC0While not in combat you might as well walk slightly closer and jump or use 2 jumps.
It really isnt as important as people make it out to be.
Or you might as well play scout instead if you don't want to bother yourself with one extra keypress not to gimp your max potential.
tbh this was C9's best chance for a big international win, coming in as huge underdogs under the yuropean radar.
Now eu teams wont take them as a joke and will be ready to anti-strat them to oblivion unless sgares will come up with strats that won't rely on knowing enemy team inside out.
