I cant see shit out here because of the humidity but the ISS passes over head a few times a week at ~6 AM so that's at least nice.

See this is what I imagine happening - I want to set up a medigun "bank"
Just play passive as hell, double gunboat, and farm mediguns. They have at least a 25 second despawn timer, so you may as well just carry 1-2 with you by inching them forward. Especially if you're to push last, just sit out in the intermediary area and build 2+ ubers by swapping the guns, then pop in real quick, bail back out, pick up uber #2, or maybe ubers 3-4 as well so they don't despawn, and then run back in and uber again, rinse and repeat for however many packs you've managed to accumulate throughout the game - as needed.
That sounds like fun.
oh....
Don't worry Bonafide, in about 4 billion years, the atoms which comprise your body will be *in* some part of Andromeda as the Milky Way and Andromeda are expected to collide in ~4 billion years! :D
and he's gone....

Rip hats becoming world-wide currency of choice plan :(. What will GabeN do now in his quest to rule the world?
Yeah remember the last time we changed the meta? There were lots of people who said it would be a *great* idea, a super great idea, and thank goodness valve had added something new and interesting.. Let us review how that turned out:

oh.......
I'd be all for being able to pick up the mediguns if they had 0% charge when you did so - it'd be neat if you could switch between kritz and uber without having to die first. That *would* be interesting.
Good on UGC.
It would be infinitely better for mediguns to set themselves to 0 on pick up. Instead of a med loss = 2 point loss, it's probably going to equal 3 now. Sad :(
Guess committing hara kiri is the only way now. Or constantly having arrows out when attacked lol.
Well hey, they got a million euros... That's more than I'd think anybody would donate lol.
Churches have nothing to worry about @reddd
They can already refuse to marry straight couples for any number of reasons. If they were in danger of legal action due to refusal to marry - and you're worried about this. First, go down to the court house with a consenting legal age adult, marry them, wait the requisite time so you can't annul the marriage, and then get a divorce. Now find a consenting legal catholic female and try to have a catholic wedding. You will find in most cases that they will refuse to do this without a *lot* of required stuff being done first, and even then they may refuse to do it on the grounds that they'll refuse to recognize your divorce. Or, on the other hand, find a conservative Islamic mosque, and attempt to marry a Muslim woman in their building without having first converted to Islam (and even then they may still refuse). All of these cases probably happen every day throughout America - they can refuse to marry for any number of reasons, it's their prerogative. Now a justice of the peace, or the courthouse, due to this SCOTUS ruling cannot refuse to issue you a marriage license however, that *would* be grounds for legal action.
I'll be here lol.
Oh I'm all that's left of the violent kid's show era then :( But we had *great* theme songs. https://youtu.be/USUucZVnno0?t=10
I do remember Rocco's though, but rocco worked at a phone sex hotline, so I can't, in good faith, call it a kid's show lol.
We had shows like Transformers, GI Joe, Ghost busters, Ninja Turtles... Power Rangers (I still remember it premiered the day before kindergarten started). Not to mention the little kids' shows like Teddy Ruxpin, the original Thomas the Tank Engine - that shit was ballin' outta control.
I vaguely remember we saw an episode of DBZ on TV once when I was like 14, and we ridiculed it for about 3 minutes and switched to something else.
I'd disagree on pacing, you can have effective character death scenes in film with it happening seemingly "randomly" Soviet war movies in particular use this tactic *very* effectively - it helps the audience realize that nobody is safe and that the situation itself is deadly, blah blah. As a rule their death scenes were always these quick shots that come at innocuous times - and there's never any ridiculous "goodbye I'm dying" sequence, some poor guy just gets blown into meat chunks or perforated and that's that. Sometimes they even do it off camera. The difference is you need the audience to *really* care about the character before you randomly off them - a lot of people really liked the latest victim, and they'd been in the show since forever, but things are so helter-skelter it's hard to keep that in perspective, or for it work as well as it could.
My problem with the show has always been how much it jumps around within one episode, not only could they pad things out more (which is kind of a useful tactic since you're working on an unfinished book series), but it'd make the story feel like it has more continuity, because right now it's really hard to feel "involved" in events that are constantly shifting all over the damn place, and if you happen to prefer one story line over another, you're going to have to spend 20+ minutes of your viewing time watching content you're not especially interested in - and you can tell the editors at least have a sense of who the more popular characters are, because a lot of the in between spots *feel* like "well, this will hold them over right - cuz' we need to end the episode with somebody people like right?"
Another issue I have with virtually every television show, especially those of this size, is that every episode and script are written by a different team of people and shot/directed by some team of people, so you don't have a lot of consistency in how characters are utilized (or even act). The very worst example was Skylar in Breaking Bad - her behavior was entirely dependent on which particular group wrote that episode lol. I don't like things that are different. If a character changes it should be for a *reason* other than "well so and so chose to utilize them this way" etc. So you end up with character portrayals that are seemingly random, and I'm left to determine that a goodly portion of the people portrayed in westeros are insane. At least this season didn't have laughable sexual content lol. Especially season two had some scenes in it that I still laugh about purely because of how ridiculous they were - at least they expunged that lol.
So, here is the thing that excites me.
Similarly left wing candidates have run before in recent memory, Dennis Kucinich was the perennial "leftish" Democrat guy that would show up, but people mostly regarded him as a joke. Bernie is managing to get himself a bit more attention and to be taken more seriously.
That doesn't mean he'll win, and even if he did, the President doesn't really have that much power to completely alter the way the US does business - but it'll at least get a wider more leftish message out, and perhaps spur people to create something useful in the long-term, and likely push Hillary more to the left for campaign purposes, but much like Obama, there's no concerted Left coalition in this country, so she wouldn't have the political clout to actually encourage people to carry out those promises.
Greece is, at least elections wise, an encouraging take. Their socialist party, who had been for years upon years, the "left" party gave way to Syriza - a much more radical left wing movement. Obviously Bernie doesn't have enough congress persons and Senators running behind him to bring about any real change, but at least it's something - change can happen quickly.
@ Turin While I can see how voting to get Rand et al to sit down makes sense in a "I support this" kind of way - filibustering only works for so long, it's mainly just an annoying way to voice your disapproval for a prolonged period, or before a recess. Even if you go absolutely ham and use a catheter or wear a diaper to stay up talking longer, eventually you'll *have* to sit down (or be removed by medical personnel) and the bill will be voted on - all the nastiest programs went on for another 6 months after the bill lapsed anyways :(. Maybe he just didn't want to hear Rand Paul read the Iliad or whatever else he had on call to read to entertain everybody for 10 or more hours lol.
No further tf2 will be played by Marxist this season - I ran out of time and motivation :( Glad I got the chance to play pocket a bit on a consistent basis. Best of luck to the Fred-gang.
Missouri is pretty fun - but if you're gonna live there and you want to have a little fun, take a Geiger counter into your basement/crawl space ;) I've only been to St. Louis a few times, it was pretty nice as far as cities go.
