Hey bois, my med told me he wanted me to call for medic more often so he can know my position, but if forget to do it myself. Is there a way to bind it so it calls for med when i attack or press wasd? (ps, for wasd if there's a way for it to be usable with null movement scrim)

funhaver1998MamzzWandumHello there newbie! I have recently developed this flowchart for optimizing your demoman gameplay in deathmatch while working with the god himself rabbit/HBZ!
https://i.imgur.com/JpbkoOZ.png
Hopefully this helps! I can verify it's validity cause it's what every other demoman currently does in dm!
See you on the battlefield soldier! or should I say demoman?
Oof. I feel your frustration. Nothing more annoying that getting killed by a trap in fucking dm. I guarantee you i do not play like that

wat do you mean? you play demo in mge like every day and thats all u and all the other demos do. before u even see the guy u have already set up a trap that u vomited out and then u start vomitting pipes and insta killing ppl and pretending that what u just did was aiming

im pretty sure that 'demo dm' is context dependent by which i mean its to do with the map design/what you're trying to do (defend/offend) + movement and not like the other classes in which its the same thign just aim/movement

which means if u want to have better demo dm in order to climb up divisons in 6s the best thing and only way you can practice this is by just playing demo in 6s a lot so that you familiarise yourself with the maps and different situations that need to be covered

edit:

Air basically said what i'm trying to say in a more concise and less mean way

Isn't that the whole point of the class? Isn't that like blaming a scout for double jumping?

TwiggyYou made a similar thread a couple months ago didnt you?

From playing against you in lobbies, your positioning is far from perfect (otherwise you'd be prem right?), therefore saying "my positioning is already good" is counter productive.

Sure you may not die a lot and topdamage in low, but that doesn't mean you're taking/creating all the opportunities that you could.

With that said, based on playing against you you're good enough for mid skill wise, so no worries.

To practice your dm, I'd say play soldier in DM/MGE. Most of the good soldiers I know are also really good with pipes, so there's obviously some skill transfer happening.

Oof forgot to say "for my skill level"

StylaxMamzzfunhaver1998its just vomitting projectiles everywhere not anything u need to practiceYou could literally say that about any class
Literally? How about spy?

I do not consider spy as a class. I see it more as God's wrath to punish us mortals

ZwocklWinning dm fights vs scouts youre not supposed to win is fun, but imo playing off/with your team is so much more important for demo.
Also remember that demo is one of the classes that can have an impact by simply being alive.

Yes, i know that, it's just that i have to rely on myself a lot in my current team so i thought that i should get good at it while I'm there

#1 Demo dm in TF2 General Discussion

Hello there, I'm a low demo main. I wanted to go mid next season, but I've heard that there's a huge gap between the two divisions. I know that there are some methods of improving dm like mge and soap, but i feel like that's not exactly the best. I'm also aware of the fact that dm is probably the least important thing as demo, but i already have good positioning and survivability since i often get the least amount of deaths in scrims and officials, while keeping top dmg or close . So the only thing that makes me wonder is how can i get better general dm (non spam pipes/sticks)? PLEASE DON'T TELL ME GIT GUT.

#1 Controlling emotions. in Mentoring

Hey guys, so I've been playing in a low team for quite a while now, and we're gonna partecipate in s31, but i noticed i really tend to get stressed when scrimming, so i can't imagine what will happend in officials. If we lose a round, i get quite tilted, not to beef my rollout, but still. How can i help myself with this anxiety? And any useful tips for demoman in general? (please don't tell me stay calm or hit a puff, those are just useless)

#7 "sticky" situation in TF2 General Discussion
Makplay demo jump maps and get good at them (be able to hit t3/4 jumps consistently). sticky jump maps get you good at aiming stickies, and when you are good at aiming stickies you will want to use them more often.

The problem is not being good with them, I'm decent, i can sticky spam and I'm quite ok at sticky sniping, but i just have a mental block that makes me use pipes more
