Faust_1I'd hope they make an exception for the next round of TOTS, and continue allowing the established community's like ETF2L to distribute medals as they have been for many seasons.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I'm fairly certain medal distribution is under no threat, just the addition of new medal models. While it truly is a shame to not get new TotH medals, and I do hope they make an exception, so long as you have the item in the game distribution is done by the party who wanted it in the game.

Honestly good riddance, IMO medals should have never been handed out willy-nilly and should have been kept for the things that had at least a set amount of effort in. I never played those custom MvM tours but I can imagine creating a map, setting uo the waves etc taking a lot of time. When you're some random redditor or tf2 youtuber setting up some poorly organised generic meme event? Fuck that.
