is it the GD235hz? I had that one. It's still an upgrade if you're switching to it from a 60hz, but it definitely has input lag. Don't overthink it though -- it could have more of a psychological effect on your gameplay than anything else.
the basic move is to correctly time your jump and duck with the incoming damage. add in an airstrafe (let go of W and hold A or D + move your mouse in the same direction at the correct speed), and you can control your path through the air. The trick is the timing -- if you press jump and duck at the time that you receive the damage, you'll go the farthest. if you go a bit earlier you'll get less distance or height, depending on the situation. if you miss the timing window then you won't really go anywhere (i.e. too early or too late). so it helps if you can predict what your opponent is going to do.
you can surf any damage including rockets, stickies, pipes, and hitscan weapons.
PYYYOURAs seen in countless isolated situations matches have been played off client. I understand ESEA has a desire for users to use their streamlined system but without citing the ddos, stv issues, and other shit I don't wanna remember, can we have a system put in place to deal with client update issues, STV servers issues, where we can play matches off client? At every exchange of server negotiation of schedule negotiation, teams inch the situation in their favor, which sometimes ends up in a 5v6, FFL, or just a shit match.
I can see how this is necessary in some very rare situations, but if the rules aren't worded correctly, this could create a very large grey area that would be hard for admins and players to negotiate.
downpourwwalrusI can use any other objects to do whatever i want to the paper/tape, but the actual tower can only be tape and papercone/taper that shit with popsicle sticks yo
EDIT: and freestanding
heck even toothpicks would do
no i think he's saying you could make like paper mache but the tower itself couldn't have popsicle sticks all over it. otherwise i'd tape the paper to a 9 foot tall microphone stand.
