first of all please thank both admins for purchasing more STV capacity or whatever they did. STVs were awesome this season compared to last.
@killing
how is killing's sc2 career going?
will he continue to pursue his TF2 interviewing skills now that shade has departed?
if he's white why are his eyes so small sometimes?
@kalkin
what is kalkin's beer of choice nowadays?
now that b4nny plays scout who does he think the best demo is in Invite S15?
what day is his birthday and do admins still send each other bodypillows for their birthdays and can we get in on that and what kind of body pillow does he want?
I appreciate what Skyride said because it's important to hold our casts to a high standard in order to give viewers a reliable viewing experience. However, if it wasn't for eXtv giving me a platform to cast for an audience I would have never tried it myself. Even though I could have casted matches on my own stream for 5-10 people it wouldn't be nearly the same experience, and it would have ended up much like a "chill cast". When you do it on a channel that is designed for casting there is a different viewer expectation and a different overall viewing experience.
If we do decide to pursue lower level casts using newer casters in an "open mic" style, I'd want to see it done on the other channel (TFTV 2).
[edit] don't get me wrong -- I've always preached practicing your casting on your own either in private or in front of any audience. however there is no substitute for casting on a legitimate casting channel.
Anyways, I handled it but please answer my post above when you can.

Do you want the stream to be listed on the sidebar as "TFLIVEAU" ?
Also, did you misspell supervillains? I listed it as your spelling but am just verifying.

Oh one more thing too. In addition to telling us about what you want to do, you'll notice that a lot of the casters on TF.TV have had multiple seasons of league TF2 experience. I hope I'm not offending you when I ask this, but can you post a bit about your experiences in TF2 to date? Much appreciated.
Hi FrenchTheLlama,
Thanks for putting yourself out there and getting into TF2 casting! I've watched a couple of your videos and am loving what I am seeing. You did a great job from setting up your YT videos to your solo casting (which is very difficult in its own right).
As far as joining the TF.TV crew goes, what was it that you had in mind? Did you want to put up your casts on the official TF.TV YouTube channel? Did you just want to brand your YouTube channel as part of the TeamFortressTV family but keep it as your own? Did you want to cast live on Twitch.TV or only in recorded videos like you posted?
TL;DR How did you see this playing out and what role do you want to play within the larger organization?
Meanwhile, I've opened up the discussion with some of the other crew members about this. Just to fill you in, historically the TeamFortress.TV casting group has purposely been kept as a very tight knit and small orgnaization. There are a number of people who could cast for the organization and coverage could easily be expanded, however keeping TF.TV small ensures quality and consistency from cast to cast. We first started by casting only the ESEA-Invite matches for North America and then expanded to cover the Premiership Division in Europe. I can't speak to how the organization will grow in the future but you can bet that casters who join TF.TV will need to have some experince under their belt on their own before joining. I can see from your videos that you are doing that, and I'm very impressed.
Long paragraph! Anyways, I look forward to talking to you more about this soon. Feel free to PM me via Steam or talk to us in the #TFTV irc channel on Gamesurge.
Best,
MR SLIN
Hi BEWM Wiggler,
Thanks for submitting your request. It looks like you have some good content on your stream, but it's just not enough to sway my opinion quite yet. I'm going to wait a few more days and then revisit your thread/stream. You don't need to do anything.
I appreciate you submitting this post, and thanks for your patience.
Best,
MR SLIN
