#12 alanny lft in Recruitment (looking for team)

I've only gotten to know Alanny through my time of subbing for Weeb Noises and currently with him during playoffs. However short, it's been great playing with him. He's a solid roamer with great dm and intelligent in his own right. He's been one of the nicest guys I've met in awhile, even through the trails of managing a team. I don't think I've ever heard him raise his voice or let his tilt affect the team, in fact he's usually the voice of reason.

Overall: He has great potential and honestly I loved playing with him, he's dedicated to getting better and is one of those guys who improves greatly in a short period of time.
Wish him well and good luck, I hope he finds a great team.

Brimstone is absolutely one of the nicest people I know. He is a certified pounder on pocket and an excellent caller too boot. Amazing pick-up all the way around.

#1 LFT Mid-High Open Demo S23 in Recruitment (looking for team)

Yo! I'm Ly and I'm looking for a team to play for as the Demoman in Season 23. I would like to play on a team that can play from a mid to high open level, ideally contesting a playoff spot if possible.
Last season I unfortunately had to step away from my team before the season started, due to school and family obligations. However, I am now back and ready to play some video games!
Throughout my time in competitive TF2,I have both run and main called for all of the teams I have played for, including the last team I played with that went 8-8 in open.
Overall I'd really like to start being held to a higher standard of demo, and hopefully have an awesome team to back me up in doing so. Also, I can usually make extra time if needed to do further demo / map reviews if it is needed (aiming to have a much more flexible schedule this time around).
Thanks for reading friends!

#3 Morris lft mid open soldier in Recruitment (looking for team)

Hung out with him while playing FaceIt, pretty cool dude, and was a pretty good pocket. From my short time with him I'd recommend him as a tryout. Good luck in the open scene man.

#510 ESEA-O S22 Happenings/Predictions in TF2 General Discussion

I feel like I'm coming into a shit fest here but, I'd like to add my 5 cents.
From watching the stream as well as talking to both Rogue and Shdw respectfully about how they did, (so please don't feel like I'm trying to defend anyone here or be biased in any way) I just want to state my opinion. With that being said, after watching the match via STV for awhile, and ending up watching the rest of the match from Couch's stream (early wake-up for school), I would have to say that DM was an issue, is it the biggest issue? Up for debate. I mean that's opinionated I feel. In my opinion I would say it was not. I felt like the fact they were being wrapped around from lobby to their second three different times was quite astonishing, not to mention the fact a lot of their pushes seemed to be disjointed or not very thought out / executed poorly.
In my personal opinion DM was an issue yes, I just feel it's being pushed too far in this sense. I do agree that Dreamboat should have hit his shots in that moment. However I also feel that out of DM and tactics, DM will always be less consistent: choking, bad day etc. My point being, I feel like a bigger issue was the tactics issue, such as the lack of cohesion or the constant wraps. Mainly because it is something they as a team can look at and improve off of, instead of just telling dreamboat or apt or freddy etc. to go hit up a DM server.
In the end it just seems like people are taking this a little to far, on both sides of the issue. I feel like at the end of the day, it's a video game, it's open. Can't we just take it as "cool, this team won this team lost", and let the teams think for themselves about how to improve, rather than making a huge ordeal out of it? I mean it is open.
Anyhow that's my 5 cents, disagree with me or agree, that's fine, just wanted to voice my opinion, and try to be as neutral as possible.
As a side note, I'm quite fond of both these teams and I hope this they both do well this season, Bowflexing and Bote both are teams to be watched for certain. I found the match very entertaining and fun to watch. And much love to couch for the stream.
Thanks for reading.

#14 Jojo lft in Recruitment (looking for team)

Jojo has been a mentor and best friend for me for the past who knows how long. He was one of (if not the) very first people who actually took me under their wing when I was but a nub, in a pug group no less. He and I sort of unofficially talked about demo things ranging from complete basics to the theoretical "how could I improve this rollout, jump, or be completely stupid and make it work out well." He basically was my unofficial mentor of sorts. The one thing I will always stand by with Jojo that I think he has beyond all else is an ability to think outside of the box, he is one of the few people I know who has the ability to think of an abstract play during a hold / potential push instead of defaulting to the most accepted, cookie cutter version of pushing choke point X.
It hurts to say but Jojo is still faster than myself at rollouts, in fact he is the one that helped me gain a passion for showing up to mid in the most efficient way possible. He is probably the fastest demo in Open as of right now. I'm also fairly certain he lives in TF2.

I can't speak any higher of Jojo, I wish him the best of luck in s22 and onward, frag hard big bro! :D

#164 m0rehud black in Customization

Someone on the RaysHud Thread made a (temporary?) fix, this works on M0reHud Black as well, just it looks kinda ugly. Picture for reference: http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/449608559595127518/1A2534C84A53A3E5A7B5339C1F92DE8D857B355E/

DeaftJoeI made a quick fix for the HUD win panel, it's essentially a copy paste from the stock HUD. I haven't tested this in matchmaking at all, no guarantees for that.

The x and y pos assumes that you're running 1920x1080, sorry if it doesn't work with other resolutions.

Add this to \scripts\HudAnimations_tf:
event WinPanel_CompPos
{
Animate WinPanel ypos 230 Linear 0 0
}

event WinPanel_NormalPos
{
Animate WinPanel ypos 230 Linear 0 0
}

Find "WinPanel" in \scripts\hudlayout.res, change it to this:
	WinPanel
	{
		"fieldName"				"WinPanel"
		"visible"				"1"
		"enabled"				"1"
		"xpos"					"c-150"
		"ypos"					"230"
		"wide"					"300"
		"tall"					"300"
	}

Lastly, replace \resource\ui\winpanel.res with this: http://pastebin.com/YXfr5fhx

Here's what it should look like: http://puu.sh/oyWFn.jpg
