Yes, the price should be variable, like when you buy the Humble Bundle. Sal, is it too late for this?

I'm not sure if it's possible. I can create multiple "packages" with different price tags (and different content), but it doesn't have a name your price option. And I don't really like having multiple price tags with exactly the same product ... hmmm.

95% or so. Some stuff (interviews) don't have much motion though, meaning you won't notice everywhere.

About 35 minutes. I believe VHX supports Paypal, Amazon and Credit card. Straight download yes, multiple qualities / filesizes. and YouTube. ;)

Not that I have any issue with Luke charging a small cost for the full quality download, but June is correct that this was initially proposed as a "community contribution" and that Luke was volunteering his time to edit it. I'd rather you just straight up say Luke needs/wants some financial benefit for all his time instead of suggesting that you had implied there would be a cost at the start of the project. I will be buying a copy of this to support Luke however I do think June is entitled to complain about the cost which was not forewarned.

The VHX version isn't much different from YouTube. YouTube will also be 1080p, but then 25fps. We didn't shoot it on a RED camera or something. The main reason to buy it would be to support us! If you don't want to buy it but just watch on YouTube, that's cool too. I never considered it a paid job, I've pretty much done everything in my free time. Didn't even know we'd be able to sell it until a couple days ago.

LazyPandaHow large is the download going to be?

The highest quality version will be a little over 4GB. But you can get 25fps SD, 720p and 1080p which are much smaller (and maybe HFR 720p too) on VHX, so it's up to you to choose!

or was all of the footage shot on pal 25/50 fps cameras?

50 fps is double pal. YouTube will be 25. Shot on a 50fps camera yes.

Lucky_PierreDon't quote me on this but I believe Luke is a video editor for a living.

Now I'm a programmer for a living and after spending all day programming (well pretending to program whilst watching various shitlords play TF2 on stream) I don't come home and relish the idea of more programming, even when it is for something I love.

Also the timing is actually quite nice for a pre i49 hype type situation, which is arguably an even bigger event with Aus, US and EU all attending.

I am :) Actually since like one month after i46, so that was kinda a big change for me personally breaking away from school to work (from home), took some getting used to which probably ended up slowing this down too...

I believe it has matte panel, but it does have a glossy bezel....disgusting.
