#25 Is my sensitivity bad :7? in Q/A Help
trippai think triangle was referring to this

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omryER2EU3Q

honestly you can use pretty much any sens you want but there is a recommended range that a majority of people who main the class at a high level use (5-10 inches for soldier, 7-16 for scout)

im slowly lowering it :7 3.3 inches/360 now if im right. im not use to the whole low sens stuff. so yea

LoserSkyH4ighfor a think 3 years my sens has always been high. i thought my sens was much lower tbh, but then i figured out that the windows sensitivity isn't the default and all this other stuff. i've tried lower my sens but it feels so weird to me. idk how people do it.
Just lower it increments and give it time, I adjusted from about 5"/360 to 20"/360 over the course of a few months I'd just play for a few days then lower it another inch or two. The main thing is you gotta give your muscles time to adjust to your new sens. Just keep playing at it'll start to feel a little more natural on a lower sens,

*edit* I'd also like to say you have to go extremely low or high for you to have an objectively bad sens. I've known decent players that can play on really high sensitives and ones that can play on extremely low ones. It's just about what feels right.

i can try that, i atleast went to get to 11cm or 13 cm per 360. the whole low sens thing feels so weird to me tbh. again imma try what you told me, thanks a lot for the help and advice

VanguardDLKYears back I used to rock the ~2 inches/5cm per 360 as a roamer and didn't think anything was wrong with it at all (in my defense the mouse space on every desk I've had before this one has been a postage stamp)

Then I started lowering it little by little over time, now I'm on around 7 or 8 inches per 360

Looking back: there was DEFINITELY something wrong with it

With that said, of course to some degree you should use what's comfortable for you and mostly stick to something once you find it. But you should definitely experiment with lower sensitivities and move outside of your current comfort zone because, like me, you could find out that it's easier to hit rockets when a slight twitch of your hand doesn't do a 1080 turn and fire into space

for a think 3 years my sens has always been high. i thought my sens was much lower tbh, but then i figured out that the windows sensitivity isn't the default and all this other stuff. i've tried lower my sens but it feels so weird to me. idk how people do it.

prhttps://i.gyazo.com/847a0fff99580131fa4fa564a088ea00.png clearly NOT

but ya there have been good players w/ a high sens like that so ur probably fine if not then lower it u do u fam

Lmao that was a joke me and my friend made, cuz my aim is becoming a "flick" :7 like i'm just always flicking now.

#3209 HUD editing: short questions, quick answers in Customization
HypnotizeSkyH4ighI've been trying to modify PVhud into my own liking, that's a habit i have if i get any hud. Ran into problems and i need help :7

i tried to center the damage number, that would by default be by the health, and that worked. but the problem is that the floating damage number(whatever you call them) are to the very far right, no idea how to fix that.

the other problem i have is that im trying to make the font size of the health and ammo smaller, no idea how to do that.

if someone can help me with this, i would very much appreciate

Umh if you only want to move the static damage numbers don't do it from the hudlayout but use huddamageaccount instead changing the x value of DamageAccountValue and DamageAccountValueShadow. And if the numbers are getting cut off just increase the wide from the hudlayout.

For the font idk you can reduce the tall of "HudFontHUGE" (but i don't know if is used by other huds part tho) or just use something like HudFontGiantBold (replace the font in the hudammoweapons and hudplayerhealth)

i got the damage numbers fixed, but i am still having issues with the font resize, PVhud has hudfonthuge but not that other one, plus i still dont know how to resize it. it just gets cut off :/

#1 Help with editing a hud. in Q/A Help

So, When ever i get my hands on a Hud i modify it to my liking, i think that's a habit. So basically i got PVhud and i was trying to modify it to my liking, but i ran into problems and issues.

What i am trying to do first, is somewhat center the damage number.(by default it would be by the health, or ammo if you're weird.) that worked but what i ran into is the floating damage numbers, what ever you call them, are really really far off to the right of the screen. I don't want it like that, is there anyway i can fix that?
(picture of what it looks like http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=705177412 )

What i'm also trying to do, is make the font size of the ammo and health a bit smaller. once i done that i'm gonna somewhat center the health and ammo. thing is, i have no fucking idea how to do change the font size. so if someone can please tell me how to that, i would appreciate it.

So yeah, just need help. if anyone is curious how this modified hud turns out ill show it, but as of now i need help with this :7

#18 Windows 10 resolution issues. in Q/A Help
MuteSkyH4ighMuteInstall tSkyH4ighHyperi0nonly way ive figured out is to use hrc when you launch tf2
http://funk.eu/hrc/
how do you use this ._.
Install the application and make hotkeys for the 2 resolutions, make the first resolution the default res your computer usually runs on and launch tf2. After tf2 is launched, tab out and use the hotkey for the second resolution, which you should set to a 4:3 resolution, when you tab back into the game it will be stretched. (Remember to scale full screen like panda said.)
should i put the second res to my res in tf2?
yeah, that would help the tabbing in and out of the game be much quicker

add me on steam lol
