In his defense, c-stick was optimal for air attacks when you wanted to DI left and attack right or vice versa. Why another joystick isn't fine for such a role is beyond me though.
I'm not saying the c-stick wasn't useful, it's just like, what the fuck does that have to do with my ranting

when they made melee, they weren't trying to make a competitive fighting game at all and still ended up making one of the most technical-skilled fighting games to date on accident

you should've casted our match against pandamonium, that was a good game
