That's really weird. Do you have any cfgs installed?
(by cmd i mean the actual command prompt)
Is it an FPS lag or an internet lag?

Welcome to tftv!
Is this a problem on all servers or just the servers you lobby on?
Did you try verifying your game's cache?
Did you try reinstalling TF2?
I'm assuming you tried restarting your computer as well?
Does this happen in other games?
Can you try pinging the servers with this command in CMD to see if it's a net issue or a computer issue?
ping <SERVER IP> -t iirc, fragile is still sub-2k hours.
Hey, so I just removed a few teams that were really far behind. If you reported your match and it was not put on the challonge, message me within 24 hours of this post and I'll do my best to work it out. After that, these removals will be final.
If you're still in the tournament, play your matches. Brackets will probably clost on the 25th, so give yourself a reasonable amount of time to play all of your matches by then. Do not play upper bracket round #5 and lower bracket round #6. These matches and the ones after them will be played in a finals event.
If you or your org are looking at sponsoring an event, this might be a good opportunity for you. Hit me up if you want to get some prize money in the tournament. I'll consider real currency, in-game currency, and physical prizes. Hit me up on steam or message me on TFTV. Current prizepot is $270 (thanks largely to KaraBear with help from alkaline and myself).I'd like to get this up to $350 (200 for first, 100 for second, 50 for third). Currently, payout rates are 150 for first, 75 for second, and 45 for third.
Collateral keys will be given to the top three teams at a ratio of 3:2:1 for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively with all the remainder going to first. Currently there are around 14 keys in the pot (though I'll need to double check this number).
I'm sorry things are running a bit behind. When teams decide they don't want to play their matches after being reminded, there's not much I can do.
NurseyIs anyone going to cast Seendio vs Guado Glories tonight?
i'll casual cast this if i get out of class on time. no promises, but I should be around.
If anyone is interested, here's ninjanick's POV of this match.

sevennnbreloomhow would the spy/pyro/sniper mains practice? pubs arent an option for getting goodMoyhttp://teamfortress.tv/servers/?region=naI joined the 5 with people and they all allowed spy/pyro/sniper
basically any, if not most MGE servers.
if this isn't sarcasm (i can't tell because i'm dumb), pubs are actually a better practice for those classes imo
sniper you don't have to have the stupid second scope battle or whatever, just practice your flicks
pyro reflect everything, spy check, flareshot, etc. your job is usually much less dm-focus and more support-focuesed
spy you literally just see how aggressive you can play in pubs and not die instantly. that's how you get better at that class.
only thing better to practice these things is highlander.
EDIT OOPS SORRY SEVEN
kounterpartsKind of off-topic but is there a sort of P-Rec for mumble, it would be helpful when doing demo reviews and such?
The built-in recording function is really intuitive, I don't think a separate took would be too necessary.
If you don't play your Round 3 / Losers Round 2 game by this Wednesday night, you will be removed from the tournament.
If you haven't played that round at this point, you won't be getting your collateral back.
If you're having issues scheduling with someone, message me. Don't just do nothing.
A lot of people are doing the right things, but spending a few hours every week messaging a few people to play the same match over and over is getting silly.
Check the brackets! If it's not there, we don't have it. Rereport if that's the case. http://challonge.com/REAL2v2MGE2015
parkThis will be very useful for lower level players, seconding the demo review suggestion. you're doing great work, kevin.
I'll definitely be expanding on what the channel offers over time. Right now, I'm doing a few hours of work beyond the hats every day as well, along with being a full time student, so I don't have a huge amount of time to organize all that. Come summer time (14ish weeks from now), expect a lot more with this channel.
Currently, expect regular POV uploads!
The plan is to post highest-division content during on-season and lower divs during throughout the off season to tide people over till the next on season.
Hopefully that will work out. I may end up changing it if it doesn't though.
GetawhaleMay I ask out of curiosity how you intend to sync Mumble comms with POV? In my experience they go out of sync very slightly and it's difficult to perfect. Have you mastered it sir? If so, I'm interested to know how.
Basically a lot of tinkering. It's really hard to get them perfect, and mumble comms really like de-syncing. But there will be two ways to get the content to the channel, just like before I kinda took the reigns. The first way is the POV/ Mumble Recording technique (example). The second way is local recording/ stream vods that can be uploaded (example).
futureHow frequently are we gunna get povs uploaded?
As frequent as I get sent things. If I find that there isn't a lot of content being pushed toward the channel (I already have a few contancts) or if the content gets stale (same few teams constantly), I'll branch out and get more POVs from people. The minimum goal is at least and upload every week or so during the on-season. I also have plans for stretching content over the off-season as well.
I'm really happy to announce...
Hey guys. I'm happy to announce that I've been given access to uploading content on the TF2Povs youtube channel. I'll be working with as many high level players as I can to get quality as many mumble-accompanied POVs as possible. If you're a top level player interested in ways help out, add me on steam or hit me up on tftv messages.
Mr_OwlI dont really understand why A:R ever became a thing. I can't think of anyone I've ever talked to who has ever played more than a couple lobbies who likes the idea of comp tf2 but just doesn't go for 6s/HL. Those two gamemodes get pretty much everyone, from the people who like competitive gaming and happen to play tf2, to the people who like tf2 and happen to be competitive. A:R just doesnt fill any niche. Neither does 4v4, which is why it's basically a complete failure as a gamemode. There wont be anyone who starts playing only A:R without already having a background in 6s/HL.
When you have an audience of thousands, it's possible to find a few dozen willing to play anything. A lot of the players that play in the A:R pugs currently (the ones I've talked to at least) are there to get casted, or people that can't find any 6s pugs.
Also, there's an A:R cup happening soon if you guys want to watch some gameplay to develop your own opinion. http://www.edge-gamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=278272
Please play your matches. I should have to message half the teams every round, that's just plain silly.
