#12 ETF2L S26 W3: Arctic Foxes vs. top5rocket in Matches
DancingrootDoes anyone have the STV demo of this match? Specifically the second map.

Prem teams are mandated by the league to upload match STVs to the ETF2L website. You can download them from the match page under the section "Demos".

#9 Favourite DJ Set/s? in Music, Movies, TV

I'm not deep into mixes and such, but here are some I really like:

  • Decks, EFX & 909 by Richie Hawtin. The first entry in the DE9 series of mixes, this one is by far my favorite because of just how pounding it is - the first half ends with an EBM song! Made in '99, still sounds futuristic. It also made me discover Rhythm & Sound (song at the end). The later ones in the series mix minimal techno instead of Detroit techno, but they're still worth checking out (Hawtin uploaded them both to SC as well).
  • minMAX by Hobo. The mix itself isn't anything special technically, it's the sheer quality of the tracks being mixed that does it for me. The first disc of the label compilation that's being mixed here has all the songs separated and I prefer it that way (the track order is better to boot), but the mix is on the second disc if someone likes that format better.
  • Italo Disco Set by The Hacker. The Hacker is a pretty interesting artist, as he works in both techno and synthwave - his claim to fame is a collab with Miss Kittin. This set is a pretty sweet old school '80s mix that features some truly deep cuts.
  • FACT Mix 122 by Autechre. It's really a mix that makes more sense if you know Autechre, but it still mixes some nice tunes. I mostly include it here for... well, a certain unexpected/funny turn of events. I'd rather you listen to it to hear it. (The description and comments spoil it if you're so keen on finding out.)

DaggerNeitiznot is ruled by a Burgher, while Jatizso is ruled by a King. Together, these make a Burgher King.

#2 New way to play 6's (Just a thought) in TF2 General Discussion
  • The way it was played, Gpit was pretty much a linear A/D map. It was gradually removed from all the leagues roughly three years ago and wasn't seen since (despite Sideshow's best efforts). Spectators loved it, players hated it. It's not even played in Highlander now. There was another asymmetrical A/D map in the recent ETF2L experimental map cup, don't know how that went.
  • A competitive rework and reskin of Mountain Lab was discussed and worked on, ultimately didn't go anywhere; that's the biggest push for "pure" A/D that I can remember.

Overall track record of A/D: not great.

#5 What font is this? in Q/A Help

No update from OP, so I'll spill the beans: I found Nina Bold. Try typing 125 into the preview; aside from being less squashed vertically it looks pretty much the same. Should be a free download floating around somewhere; plus it's a Microsoft font so it's probably bundled with some edition of Office (I have 2010 but it's not here).

I have to say, I'm quite impressed with that WhatTheFont OCR.

chunkeyyydefinitely the font from grapehud

That's Segoe UI, and the 1 there looks slightly different. I think I found a very similar font using the tool Ash linked (at least as much as it's possible using only three digits), but I'll wait and see if OP gets it himself.

#6 EUHL is actually dead (if it wasn't already). in TF2 General Discussion

NA HL coverage died because of the lack of staff... now EU HL coverage will die because of the lack of matches?

By the way, where did the HL subforum go? Shouldn't there be a place to discuss it, even if TFTV doesn't cover it?
