Especially in higher divs with fewer teams, is it a problem to just poll (potentially in-the-div) TLs and ask:

What season length would your team prefer?

- 8 wks
- 6 weeks and our team will not/can not play if it's 8 weeks
- 6 weeks but we'll play 8 weeks if that's what it ends up being the decision

and then just see where the div lies?

If adv will be a small number of teams for an 8 week season, but more teams are willing to commit for 6 weeks and you get a stronger/more full div, I think that's preferable? I doubt teams would say "we won't play 6 weeks, only 8 weeks!"

Lower divisions have had strong seasons with good number of teams, so you don't have to change it everywhere. I don't see a problem with divisions being slightly different lengths based on what the people in that division want-- this is already done for the map pool in adv/inv

not playing anubis could be a drawback, a 6-map pool is always risky. earl will need to put some hours into cs for them to be a threat, imo ;)

Dividing by matches played is worse than a set time cuz match lengths are variable, so playing a 50 min banny config game is gonna result in more deaths but not more deaths/30 min, so that might be a better metric

Just use stats/30m so it’s normalized

We're running it back for another season of main, goal is top 3 to build off of 6th place in S11 and 4th in S12. Maintaining a good bit of continuity (4+ seasons together for the players staying), but also facing quite a bit of roster overhaul. Looking for people with high main experience that are able to grind for the season and contribute to helping the team continue to improve.

We need 2 flank players and a medic.
