Hi, we got 2nd in main last season and 4th (ish) this season while ppl offclassed and played for fun, but at least some of the core from s14 wants to play adv with the goal of grinding to improve and learn. We're looking for a med, soldier (prefer pocket) and flank scout (sub w guaranteed playtime) with that same mindset & good vibes. Preferably people who have top main or (better for us because we lack it) advanced experience. Roster so far:

So here’s another case where the community volunteers tens of hours of their own time to do the RGL anti cheat’s job for them (which we understand, they’re understaffed and there’s a lot of cases to check), but like can the AC team (which self admittedly has NO ways to detect cheats besides visual inspection) just use the sample of clips gathered here and make a decision? Not saying that they should take the word of the ppl that have posted the clips alone (they should also confirm it), but it seems like combing through the clips would be the most time-consuming part. And meanwhile, another playoff bracket is ruined for the vast majority of the teams if yen is determined to be cheating.

It just seems crazy that there’s consistently 0 transparency about anything regarding the cheating situations that happen pretty much every season at this point, and they get left until it’s way to late to fix anything unless the teams literally stop playoffs from happening (which we can’t do anymore). As was said last season with the Kryma situation, cheating accusations need to be dealt with before playoffs because even if yen gets banned and REAL get their matches revoked, now the bracket is just completely fucked and it’s too late to go back and replay everything.

If you compare this to literally any other game where cheating is involved, no tournament organizer has a problem with saying “player X failed to pass this Anticheat protocol, they are being investigated”, then the player gets temporarily removed from the roster until they’re cleared. Yeah some people could get witch-hunted but then the anticheat team can just make a statement clearing them once the job is done. Instead we do the opposite, nobody has any info, so the teams playing with the potential cheaters are like fuck it, we will keep this guy playing until RGL tells us otherwise, and then by the time the guy gets banned playoffs is over. Remember, yen was reported LAST SEASON and we’re still dealing with this shit now.

Flick one way, fire on the one frame when it stops (consistently), then flick the completely other direction, while also at other times pointing at some random point in the sky and not moving your mouse at all??? Flicking to the target and shooting when u think ur on it makes sense, but why would u ever then wildly swing the other way away from all the targets?

Usually if ur flicking u dont need to be 100% precise because you're flicking TO the target, so there are multiple frames where your crosshair is gonna be near/on the target, but here theres literally one stationary frame and then he's flicking back the other way 180 degrees immediately

But also while maybe individually none of these clips are enough to incriminate someone as a cheater, it's hard to get past the fact that there's like a huge number of these "suspicious" clips that were found over a relatively short timeframe. Of course, any player could have SOME really ridiculous cheater-esque clips over the course of their time playing the game, but the fact that people can quickly and easily find a substantial number of clips over the course of 1-2 seasons in yen's case says a lot, imo. It's just extremely unlikely that a few people searching for clips over <1 yr would quickly come up with a haul that big for a normal player
