Since we're discussing how the sticky nerf changes demo positioning to be less favourable to taking 1v1s, why haven't we talked about how the nerf allows other classes to be more aggressive (or i guess stupider in some cases)

That is the eventual solution to everything but when you've learned to play a class a certain way for 5 years and they change it in a blink of an eye (sort of balancing that was needed to happen say 6 years ago happens now?) it's a bitter pill to swallow. As time moves on so will TF2 and the way we adjust to changes, but right now I think I got a right to be pissed off now next time I log into TF2 I have to totally adjust the way I play my main class and the whole meta is different and we're coming to the end of a season where last two games really matter.
So y'know, fuck Valve - please tell me they at least optimized the game???
Long run this will work out, I am sure we can adjust but it's quite a shock to the system.
Lots of people are saying they're getting better FPS, but there's still invisible players

TheReachFreaksI was just sitting here thinking after this update left me in tears. Since soldier seems to be the highest damage class (unless you are a lucky demoknight). Imagine if comp had to adjust to this update by having 2 demos and 1 solly instead of the usual? On the brightside, everyone in pubs will be happy :(.
People who use the parachute can now be EZ airshot practice lol.
What do you guys think about 2 demos?
he still locks down whole areas of a map...

so if you really whiff a krit sticky, you should be rewarded with 150+ dmg? in that case, a whiffed krit rocket should also do at least 150dmg. i mean the gun has half the ammo of stickies.
if you whiff a sticky, doesn't that do 0 dmg, by definition

cookieI'd love to see a website that removes the entire IRC component of pugs and makes it visually pleasing and easy for players to join. Maybe pug.na could become that dream.
I think there might be an inverse relation between prettiness of a pug site, and quality of the pugs, like tf2center/tf2lobby
