i'm going to leave all my personal bias aside and say that he stated $650-$700 was his price range.
Also, while it's definitely not for everyone, something to consider is the Microsoft Surface. You should try and find one to try out, but if you like it, it'll suit your needs rather well. However, the storage space is rather limited, to say the least.
