I cannot recommend Marxist's videos enough. They give you a great insight, and I'd def. recommend watching more of them, instead of just the two I've got pasted here. They're invaluable information.

Right click on the folder in question, go to properties --> security --> edit and add yourself as someone with full control. That should fix most issues.

I don't think putting the .iso onto the USB will work, as it's never worked for me, but you might have better luck.
