That was literally the most beautiful thing I have seen in months.
First TAS run was awful. I seriously hope the rest will be better.
EDIT: It was.
I am also available as someone to fill out a player spot. I want this season to happen.
Asked for a tryout, said they'd try me out at 10, didn't respond to questions asking about how close they were to being done. Didn't give mumble info. Was kept waiting for a few hours. Never got a tryout.
Talked with one of the teams they scrimmed, said this team is bad.
I have never had worse interactions when working with a team captain, and that's including my time in iron hl.
BonafideHave you ever taking a shit so big your anus started bleeding?
Have you guys ever had to take a shit the length and thickness of your upper arm?
Don't. Seriously. It sucks.
RadmanWhat does "not competitive" even mean to you guys? I'm seeing it used to describe any mode that doesn't happen to be your favorite.
It means that the format doesn't have the same skill ceiling as sixes. When discussing TF2 unlocks in particular, this is because tf2 unlocks become a game of weighted rock paper scissors with a million different combinations that turns the game into a complete guessing game.
Most players here would rather reward strong dm, good teamwork, and correct positioning than happening to guess the correct unlock to deal with your opponents'. The sixes gamemode and whitelist is the one that is most effective at doing this.
Liberty Launcher was already unbanned.
Bump. Would like to play on a team this season.
Treat her like she's an actual person.
Just find someone you like and ask. Don't be a pansy.
There isn't anything beyond that.
r4ptureRandom Thought
What if they made this a 1v1 game mode like Quake? The grappling hook would obviously increase the games overall speed, and the powerups make more classes viable in that kind of situation, while retaining a lot of core strengths (Sniper only being good if you have the aim for it, for example).
This is just intended to be a quake CTF thing. It has a quad that spawns at a predeterined interval after being picked up, plus a number of other powerups like haste, regeneration, and battle suit.
They just added in a whole bunch of other stuff and removed key things, like powerups fading, that keep the mode from being too stupid.
Proper netcode is scheduled for next patch.
My desktop is a toaster and it can run reflex just fine with all the graphical options they've put in.
Anyway, differences between reflex and CPM are:
Triple jumping
Stake Jumping
Multiplayer map editor
Built-in matchmaking
Splash through walls (currently a fix for staircases gobbling up rockets. Might get revised. You can't do the TF2 thing of making stairs ramps since ramps have absurd physics.)
Lack of a proper spawn system in reflex (to be fixed; currently possible to telefrag by spawning)
Reflex has serious potential. Right now it needs work, but you can still make maps for when netcode does get fixed.
rowrowI need someone to confirm this, but I just hit a fully built minisentry from the base with a grenade launcher at almost point blank, and it lived. Did valve just make the grenade launcher get spread on minis??
Confirmed, with both damage spread off and on.
