Multiplay wanted the i49 grand final to be on their twitch stream, considering they were the main sponsor for the event. The stream did not run at all and most of the first map got casted on twitter. The rest of the LAN was casted on vanilla tv without much technical problems. Arguably one of the worst PR atempts in TF2.

Cool video, thanks for sharing. Learned something new.
So thats the reason everybody has been playing with this weapon instead of stock lately.
Also. I feel like the projectiles fly faster/in a more straight line versus stock, is that true?
Short answer: Yes'nt
Long answer:
Source engine simulates aerodynamic drag on demoman primary weapons. All pipes have the same mass. The size of the loose cannon ball gives it a lot of drag and makes it the slowest ignoring higher projectile speed. For the iron bomber drag is calculated as if the projectile is a stock pipe. The loch-n-load flies like an arrow and have less drag than iron bomber ignoring higher projectile speed.

Edited response to be factually correct
YeeHaw I can't think of many good players who couldn't go to LAN at least once anyway.
Adamracek is the first one i can think off.
Good job writing all this, it has been fun looking back at the names from the past. Would be cool to have a bit more clips from multiple players. I would rather have most players with one clip linked than some people with four and the rest with nothing. The argument that clockwork and b4nny have comparable stats on scout i think should favor clockwork more than b4nny. Considering the amount of healing and ubers b4nny takes i think it is even more impressive that clockwork was able to keep up with b4nnys stats. Good job to beater for the legacy videos.
Writing a similar list for other continets i think would be more difficult. Froyo can be used as a reference for all other teams for the past 7(?) years, while in ETF2L winning teams tend to fold or have core players reitre more often making it harder to compare over time.
My highlight was giving my uncle thread tools for woodworking. He said I won the best gift award.
I want to give credit to the jumping community. I have seen people use hours on a tier 3 map, and when they finally finnish multiple people congratulate them on the run. People in the jump community also just likes giving tips for people to improve. Never experienced toxicity in a jump server.
I don't like the steward desicions at the austrian grand prix 2019 with verstappen forcing leclerc off the track in turn 3. Defensive driving shoud be about forcing the competetor off the racing line, not off the race track. Over the last couple of years i feel like overtakes are just being slightly ahead of the other driver at the apex, then force them of the track. And if the guy that was forced off the track gets out in front, we hear "He overtook me off the track. He has to give the positon back" at the radio. No way we would see anything like Arnoux vs Villeneuve in France 1979 by modern drivers.
Why do race director give message to car in front to let the car behind go by first? If the race director had said to mercedes first "We will tell Max to give the space back" and then tell redbull "Tell Max to give Lewis the space back" there would be no chaos like what happened. The only reasons for not doing this is it might make the gap between the cars a bit bigger than if they are telling the leaders first. They should have safety and clearity prioritized over someone having to slow down for a bit longer to give back a place.
Ended up top 0.01% on Rory Gallagher. Recomendation: If you like blues, check out Rory Gallagher.
JojolucrativePhantomi mean i'll wait til it's out but alex.exe not being on it sounds incredibly terrible if there's gonna be some pocket soldier from 2009 who could barely rocket jump on it in his place
I still and will always disagree with this take lol any of those players that were good "back then" if continued to play would have adapted and learned new mechanics and new meta, the game wasn't even remotely the same between any of these era's. we have also seen lots of players from super long ago continue to play and continue to be on top and learn new mechanics/metas (people like blaze come to mind)
I disagree with the idea of giving people credit for "if they had continued to play" yeah of course people with 10 years of experience would have an advantage compared to if they only played for a couple years, but they didn't and that's that. Now of course in a list like this we should give people credit for relative to their time skill level which is why old players are going to make it on the list at all. This is sort of what makes this list subjective fun(and therefore not really worth arguing about because tery and the people he consulted might just value things a little differently than other people) rather than something that can be looked at as objective fact.
There have been old top tier players returning and preforming at a competetive level. I think TLR left tf2 for multiple years before joining froyo and playing on international LANs. Alfa has also had long breaks and instantly played in playoffs when returning. Raymon was away from prem for years before joining crowns (or se7en), and when he returned many people considered him the best medic in the world. There are also examples of people returning and not being as good as they used to. i49 Shocky was a beast that, and while he was still a prem playoffs contender when he came back, i can not see a maincaller say "Shocky go on flank and 2 vs 1 their roamer and flank scout" like KnoxXx said back in the day.

Based on the size of the container the dude is 1.61 meters or 5' 3''.
phobiaSomeone should host an old school cup where they play all the oldschool comp maps, would be fun 2 watch
No unlocks, revert sticky nerf and medi gun speed, maybe even give demo 30 reserve ammo (nerfed to 16 in 2008). Even 2fort was played in comp back in the day. The true 2007 experience. Engineer metal cost has to be reverted as well.
SentiDr_HeinzThis really is just jump_jurf_a2. I'm not sure what you think is different

just a case of room temperature IQ, updated the OP, thanks anyways
Room temperature in celcius or fahrenheit?
Jw-decrease radius of airblast cone by 25%
-decrease strength of airblast the more times it is used in a row
-make it so that you have to actually aim the flamethrower, instead of the optimal strategy being to fling your mouse
-make it so that players can airstrafe after being airblasted
Result: pyro is now significantly less annoying, while still being able to act as a training wheels class to new players.
Remove mini crits from airblasted projectiles.
Make it so that you can see the pyro through flames. Nothing like shooting into a wall of flames hoping for the best.
