RadmanThe sponsorship thing is interesting, but it seems kind of pointless. If lotus actually paid for servers and mumble, it would be much better for branding (and would cost them very little).
One thing Shwan pointed out in the Vector interview is that you have to remember what value you give to the sponsor. In the case of bpm, it's very little, since most people watching them will already know of Lotus, skial, etc. However, and this was said in the ugc thread, even if 1% of the people on Lotus check out the match, it's still a positive number. So, the sponorship essentially is the two parties advertising for each other, which will hopefully help comp tf2.
