#53 congrats to cinq and #tf2mix in TF2 General Discussion
AllealWithADanceNumberI think a lot of people play cs go just to play a different game with their friends. Not because they are switching to a new game. Its a shame that there isn't a more serious version of something like tf2center for high level pugs.
I heard a rumor tf2center was working on something like that. I have no idea how they plan to pull a bunch of higher level players to it though

TF2Center no longer wants to do that.

SpannzerRickthey legit couldnt use a better camera? thats sadA small amount of extra weight equates to a fuckton more fuel I guess

Cost of getting 1kg to the orbit is close to the value of 1kg of gold.

also, this list is sorted by GDP in US DOLLARS. Suck it, anyone who doesn't use our currency. how do you measure who is able to pay for more aircraft carriers, manned landings on the moon, and football stadiums with?

US dollars.

you're damn right.

Afghanistan used euro as international currency, but your intervention surely fixed that :D

AlkalineAny news on whether this will be working for ESEA lan? Because that would be awesome. :)

Unfortunately not :'(

NOT ESEA LAN RELATED
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've run into a problem where using items from previous bets to balance payouts got very resource demanding and seeing no other way I'll have to replace it with something else, but before I do it I wanted to ask you for the input on the following ideas.
What is this about at all? Well unlike money you can't easily split a TF2 item in any number of parts you want which makes it hard, to make payouts fair, they will always be a little smaller than they should and there will be some leftover items which should be given back to the winners in some way.

Of course I could just keep them to avoid all the problems, but as I always state this not just TF2Lounge.

So there are two things I could think of, the first is to give the most valuable item to the player with the biggest difference, a least less valuable to the player who expected a little less and so on. Now this raises a problem because players with 2 scraps of difference won't get anything and someone else could get the earbuds with a few keys of an expected payout.

The second idea is holding a huge raffle after each competition with a number of entries proportional to the how much less you got than you hoped to get. That could help us get some hype, but almost everyone would be a loser.

The last idea is the one I like the best since it's a little more fun and more people win, even if the prizes are smaller. I could give out some lottery tickets after each match (again basing on the difference) which upon activating will work just like CS:GO cases with a similar interface and a number of slots equal to the number of the tickets released, either blank or with the items.

#20 Video-game Decision-making Survey in Off Topic
fatswimdudehttp://puu.sh/dfMmf/228bb70cba.png

The way this question (and other similar questions) is worded makes me feel like a fucking asshole for saying "very often" but when I think about it I don't really have any problem with this. Obviously I'm not gonna be a total asshat to people (and help out new players and shit), but I don't understand how you could not play games for personal satisfaction.

If anyone answered differently I'd like to hear your viewpoint.

I answered often, cause I don't care about haters, not because I don't try to be a spirit of a team, was that wrong?

vibhavpTVS Gold. Pretty cheap (Rs. 1900 = ~ 30 USD). Uses Cherry MX Blue keys, has a cult following in India (Although you'd need to pay delivery costs if youre living outside India).

This thing is cheaper than switches alone here (they are around 1$ pc.). Is the retail price of the switches really that much higher from wholesale?
