#79 The demoman nerf: a semi-statistical analysis in TF2 General Discussion
Red_Why don't we adapt the playstyle like any other game? It happens in dota every 3 months where the meta changes. Albiet a very different game I think the concept is the same

That sort of comparison is incorrect at best. TF2 has 9 classes, that will never change. However, DotA has 109 heroes and that number will continue to go up. The meta in dota changes because once they have that many heroes, people are able to exploit things that are imba and it's nearly impossible to balance a game like DotA. Maybe if we no longer has class limits, something like a passive DH + Buff Banner soldier would be a viable demoman alternative. Until then, it's almost impossible to just "adapt" to this change because it's completely changing the idea of the class itself.

#27 PUG groups that are active? in TF2 General Discussion

Memories are made at BlazePugs
I'm Blaze, the head admin of BlazePugs, and I'd like to personally say that if you want to see a change made in my pugs, contact me on steam. If you want to be a negative, non-productive person, feel free to continue spamming threads that I do not read.
Anyways...
We have a small dedicated core group of people who enjoy playing pugs, and just hanging around together.
If you're new to my pugs, please add me, we can make you feel welcome, and I'll be sure you get picked.
If you wish to contact me, I suggest you add me here.
Also, my email for this sort of thing is blazedarkbringer@gmail.com if you're into that.
Pug group is here.

#1 New open team lf a mentor in Mentoring

Hello there friends, I'm blaze. My open team is really looking to become a much better team and we'd really like a mentor to help us achieve our goals as a team. If we could have any mentor, we'd want ggglygy, unanimously hands down. However, anyone thats even slightly skilled at this game, we could use. Add me here.
Thanks, Blaze

#57 ESEA S18 & TF2 in TF2 General Discussion

It seems a little shortsighted to just make a decision without input from much of the TF2 community involved. Maybe a little more community feedback could go a long way to helping out improvement of the quality of this league.

#1 Blaze Pugs; up and coming 6s pug group in TF2 General Discussion

We have 333 members as of 1/9/14!

Hi, I'm Blaze (darkbringer) and I host pugs nearly every day now, and I figured its about time to post on tftv about it. I'd like to get more players of higher and varying quality, because ideally, we'd like to get two 6s games going at the same time. That's been a long term goal and is looking more achievable every day. Anyway, we are currently the largest pug group (i assume) and the quality of our pugs are high, and I hold the pugs to a high standard. We are very chill and accepting of players of all skill levels. We have lots of great admins and are even looking to have more. If you're interested in joining, click here!.

Testimonials:

"Pretty neat" -Mykul

Thanks all, Blaze (darkbringer) I'm definitely invite.

#25 Good pug groups? in TF2 General Discussion
kirbywhile we're at it, can we revive new map pugs already? or have something like old map pugs?

i'd love to see older maps played in ways they weren't when they were in rotation.

My pugs have been trying to start something like that, we've played maps like yukon, and are playing some newer maps like logjam

My pug group, as stated previously, is steamcommunity.com/groups/blazepugs
We pug whenever convenient, and according to most, we have the most chill pug group in TF2. Our skill level is widely varied and we're definitely open to players new and old. You'll have a good time if you play and I make sure everything goes smoothly
