nobody ever tags up as a team anymore unless theyre sponsored/invite and thats truly a shame. tags are awesome, give teams a sense of identity, and help people figure out whats going on inside the scene . bring them back !!!! NOW!!!

team prefixes plugin: https://github.com/Sawrr/tf2/blob/master/TeamPrefixes/TeamPrefixes.smx

Edit: this plugin lets a team tag up in the server like how ESEA servers were

That was one of my favourite things Luc did as a team captain. Made sure we all had icons and were tagged up for matches. It may sound stupid but it made it feel like I was on a 'proper' team and it was good for morale.

i feel like people would be more inclined to associate with their team's identity if the idea of a team hadn't devolved into "group of players that show up for scrims and matches for a season then disband." i still wear the tag of my old highlander team from a few years ago because we were all friends that were excited to start in a new division and we bonded by improving and playing together over the course of several seasons. it's a shame there's so much indifference nowadays to something that seems small but means a lot more than ppl give it credit for.
