Long story short this guy added me and asked me to join his team
i logged into the site with an alt account and it was seemed like a legit (green lock) valve steam login, i got the verification code and everything through my email (no steam auth yet). next thing i know my alt account was hijacked.

the site he linked is below (beware of phishing, hijacking links)

The steam login popup that comes up is literally just an element on the page that you can move around, not an actual chrome window that gets opened, which is kinda interesting IMO. I can see how people might fall for something like this, since it looks like an actual steam login if you don't look super hard enough.

However, if you've been online in any capacity at all ever, and you have at minimum a double-digit amount of brain cells, then you should never fall for stupid phishing scams like this.

"Hello, You Play For MY Video Gaem Team, yes? We Win 5 Hundered Dollar United States If Win, Free Entry No Charg!e Sjust Sign Up At Website www.freegameLeageEpicCool.geocities.fart And We Ween Easy As Peasy!"

after all these steam scams and decades of fake emails/links everywhere how do ppl still fall for it? (that are not literal children)

i mean this guys profile is sus ("tourney player") as well, and why would u click on a league link of a league you never heard of ? ? ?? and then log into it ? ? ? ? ?

At this point just stop clicking shit linked in steam chat, unless it's from someone you would trust with your account. As said above, surprising how ppl are still falling for this shit.
