a while back, i made this thread: https://www.teamfortress.tv/52437/an-issue-with-your-computer-is-blocking-vac#7 .
i tried all those suggestions at that time and nothing worked. i couldn't play tf2 because no matter what i did, i couldn't get past that error. i tried all those suggestions on that thread, but one. which was resetting my pc.. i did that recently, and it everything worked and i was able to play again, until now. im now getting the error again. i still dont know why this is happening and i need to figure it out. i literally quit tf2 because i couldn't play due to this error. i wanna start playing again and play in leagues again.
help a brother out.
thanks.

Do you have any firewalls or antivirus software that could potentially be interfering with vac?

I'd also open up a steam support ticket if you haven't already.

for me this works:

run windows update, install anything overdue, restart PC, run the steamservice.exe repair, restart again if needed

basically I have anything steam as an exception in windows defender but it seems every time windows defender gets updated I need to do this little routine

ive been having the same problem for a few months now and what works for me is running steam in admin, disabling my AV before i launch tf2, and after it launches i turn my AV back on. whenever i don't run steam in administrator i get the same issue and get vac kicked from servers

the fix ive found is just uninstalling and reinstalling steam

this will uninstall all of your games temporarily, if you want to skip that step id say copy over folders in Common to a different location, though im not sure if its tf2's files that cause the issue or not

forgot i had this.
update; its been fine so far, i deleted nvidia inspector which ""modified tf2"" (as steam suggests, delete any program that modifies tf2), restarted my pc, and verified cache. so far, the error hasn't happened buut im paranoid that ill have to deal with it again.
if it ever happens again and i get stuck with it, ill try all these suggestions.
thank u all <3
