ive tried all the solutions on the steam forum, ive reinstalled tf2, ive removed/added my cfg back, there will be times where i dont get the vac error when i join a server for 10 minutes but then i just get disconnected because of the vac error, at this point im sure it might be a conflicting application but steam/discord/chrome/AVG/NVIDIA. Any help would be appreciated :-)

back when it used to happen to everyone in aus the only consistent solution was to just wait 10mins then it would be good again.
we found opening mumble after you were in the server helped somewhat aswell, but was probably placebo
also yea virus scanners, etc. could be causing firewall issues

i suggest first try wiping your config completely and setting all the settings to default to see what happens.

save ur current custom folder on ur desktop or someplace safe. there is a folder cfg folder in the tf folder that saves all the config data from your custom folder. try going into tf/cfg/config and deleting all the text. make sure you have nothing in your custom folder. also under the tf/cfg folder delete the files called user and settings. Once you deleted these verify the games cache. these steps should wipe your config completely. also type -autoconfig in your launch options.

if this does not work try deleting your anti-virus, including the files where they are saved on in windows. it'll probably be under program files.
