FPS Issues

In casual I struggle to get above 100 fps even though I have a i7 6-700k. When I play tf2 takes around 35%CPU and 45CPU get taken in total from other things. When I play it runs at 3.99GHz so that doesn't seem to be the issue. The issues doesn't seem to have anything to do with malware or any 1 thing taking up a lot of my power, but just simply being unable to run the game for some reason. This happened suddenly 2 week ago, before that I ran it at 220 fps easily and it isn't capped cause in deathframe I get 300 something. PLEASE HELP THANK YOU VERY MUCH

Honestly I feel the same way. I was using the master comfig stripped preset on a fresh install and was struggling to mantain 144. constantly dipping to 90. I dont think its my graphics card, overclocking that doesnt make a difference. Vavle really needs to do something about unoptimization

maxc232Honestly I feel the same way. I was using the master comfig stripped preset on a fresh install and was struggling to mantain 144.

your pc is enough to play tf2 on low/medium-low presets, stripped is for lowend pcs, and you should really update mastercomfig.
the thing is stripped doesn't use the optimizations for good computer, so you may get lower fps with it.
