yesterday night I was in hanging out with the boys and suddenly my mic just stopped working. I could hear audio perfectly fine, but my mic was just playing static and such. the G430 comes with a usb thing that connects the audio and microphone jacks and i tried plugging the USB into different ports in my PC but that didn't work. I've also tried updating the logitech gaming software, uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, restarting my PC, and of course I checked if my mic was muted on my headset. after all these attempts I still haven't been able to fix my mic issue. I've also tried testing my microphone in discord and the windows audio thing
Anybody experience this same problem or know a way to fix this?

I've had G430's before. For some reason, i've gone through 2 logitechs (1 230 1 430) and one of them had just suddenly stopped working and the other one just broke due to cat.
From what I know, it could be an issue with the wiring inside the headset or it could be that the wire outside the headset is damaged.
